I am a language tutor and I have to say you are one of the best! Your podcasts are not only clear, short, interesting and amusing but also thought-provoking. Well done!
@@spanishgitana I don’t mind the spoilers of something I’ll never watch anyway!! Chivar is kinda funny because in Mexico there is a soccer team called Chivas and maybe they cheat when they do win which is not very often 😂
Thank you so much for this podcast Marina! After watching your recap (most of which I understood :), my wife and I watched the show. Wow - such a great series. Hard to find the words. I don't normally like sad endings but this was done so well it was worth the pain. Thank you for recommending it, and I really enjoy your channel (to which I'm subscribed of course)! 😊
acabo de encontrar tu canal hoy y me he suscrito :) me gustó mucho este explicación de una serie que nunca había visto, jaja fue muy intrigante. also wanted to say, as a native english speaker your english is fantastic!
I am watching this video....and its the 15th of July! ooof 😆 I watched the first 5 episodes in one blink...but then ep 6 on it just got too emotionally taxing for me. The rest of the series I "watched" through a UA-camr watching and reviewing each episode. So basically someone else watched it for me, but I got all the chisme. lol
Hola Marina. Siempre un gran podcast como de costumbre. Tengo una sugerencia, que expliques las palabras difíciles en español. Esas interrupciones en inglés son muy distraídas. Espero que otros piensen lo mismo. Saludos cordiales.
Send that whole family to jail ! Thank you for the video. Have you ever seen the old movie "Same Time Next Year" starring Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn? I think you would enjoy it and the acting is fabulous. A man and woman, both married, randomly meet, have dinner, and they end up in bed. This continues once every year at the same location. The movie follows them every 5 years as they grow older and go through life changes. All the acting occurs in the same little cottage; it is basically a screen play. It may sound silly but it is one of my favorite movies! - Dave
Gracias por tus pensamientos y sentimientos porque ahora sé que absolutamente no quiero ver esa serie. Necesito una lista de tus series favoritas asi que sé ¡que no ver!:)
Thank you for video, is very helpful. A question, wouldn't it be "le hice caso" instead of "la hice caso" . le: being the indirect object pronoun referring to your friend, considering caso being the direct object?; I'm guessing this is a colloquial language mannerism more than a grammatical mistake; thanks again!
yess exacto, "le" would be correct correct! but when i was talking i used "laísmo" because I wasn't thinking too much hehe, good that you pointed that out!!!! your Spanish is amazing
Me gusta chica.

Not really distracting at all. In fact many of the slang and idiomatic sayings could never be understood unless you looked them up!

😂😂😂 I haven’t but I will check it out !!! Gracias :)
Just learned from you the use of "jail" as a slang word, and I'm a native English speaker.

Y quiero decir algo más por favor
"Israel es un país realmente malo porque siempre ataca a los civiles sin piedad.¿No?"

Hola Marina que tal, saludos de galés.
Saludos ;)))
Why can I completely understand everything she says, but I literally can't utter a word in spanish 😢
You need to start talking then !!! Even if it’s to yourself
try mirroring/echoing what you hear her say.
Try shadowing what she says. You literally have to train your mouth, throat and vocal cords to say the words. Just takes time and repetition.

Hola Gitana:
Qué significa pegar hostias??
Pegar golpes or to hit... pero es muy muuuy informal, no lo recomiendo hehe
prometiste hablar despacio...
Lol that show sounds ridiculous 🤣
