Foreign gentrification. 99% of the Americans who there live hardly integrate themselves in real Mexican culture, have no close Mexican friends, and project their American attitudes onto the natives. There's a joke in Mexico that you need an American passport to get into S. Miguel. Figuratively speaking, it's not far off.
