They don't care about Chelsea's childless status, personally. They don' t care whether she's happy or not. What they care about is their inability to control, manipulate and oppress women like you and Chelsea who *choose* not to have children. And they do that by belittling their choices, claiming their professed happiness with said choices is a lie, and perpetuating their view that childless women are unfilfulled. Gaslighting 101.
I have 2 children, they were great kids and I did not spank them. They have made me very proud and have given me 4 beautiful grandchildren. But now the grandchildren are grown and my husband and m have nothing to worry about but each other and we can go whenever and wherever we can afford. I can see that life is so much sweeter. And while I do not regret children, I would never encourage people who choose not to have them to change their minds. And every parent, no matter how much they love their kids have had those days when they wonder, “WTF was I thinking???”
I chose not to have children. Never regretted it. Never will. It was an incredible thing to have that CHOICE back before the age of repression returned to the US.
Why do people feel it's a woman's duty to have children, children aren't for everyone, it has been proven!! Every woman was not ment to be a mother, look at all the homeless and battered children and unadopted children in the jacked up system, these children were not a product of a mother who needed children, some are forced by husbands or boyfriends, women should have their own choice 🤔yay or nay, can't let inculcate men or women dictate for others what do they know. Careers and children, one or the other suffers, if the situation isn't handled in the right way. 😔
@@grandmadonnabug5310 because life is still life. Denying its existence is infinitely worse than a harsh childhood. Plus bearing a child releases hormones such as oxytocin, or a trust and bonding hormone. Having a child can motivate people to work harder. as a man in my mid 40s without children, i fully understand why anyone would not want to have children. having nephews is more than enough for me. and the idea that people without children are going to die alone is absurd. we still have family and we still have friends
We all are going to die alone, unless our partners kill themselves at the same time we are dying, and when you are dying you don't even know who is next to you anyway, believe me I know.
How many people in rest homes have children who are preying on them for their assets, but they can't care for their parents, hell they can't even take care of themselves, we should all have the choice to run Our own lives as we see fit. I have 1 child, had she not gotten here when she did, I couldn't say that. I am in the LGBTQ community proudly, after 7 years of marriage I decided to live my life happy, living how I was feeling. 62 years later At (69), I'm happy and have a loving relationship with my daughter and my partner of 13 years, and my Grandson's and it was how I raised her, that makes her want to be there for me when I can no longer take care of myself, along with my partner who is 9 years younger than I. A lot of people with children can't say any of what I have said. Kids remember how they are treated and some retaliate in not so good ways, can U say the ID Channel Snapped etc. 😱

I had 6 kids, but that was my choice. Still have two in school. It's disgusting how the right thinks they have to control a woman's choice about anything! Kids don't make us happy, we make ourselves happy whether we have kids or not. It's terrifying in the US to be a parent without healthcare, or sending them to school wondering if they will come home or end up at the morgue from yet another school shooting. Take care of these issues and maybe more women will choose to have kids.
As a 42 year old single man, people give me that "poor you" eyes and statements when they learn I'm single. I'm HAPPY. I have the pleasure to do anything I want and whenever I want. I hang with my friends, go to the movies, eat out, and my bills are EXTREMELY manageable. I LOVE kids, but I don't want any of my own.
@@NotSoEntertaining. I’m 26. I want kids before I’m 40 however I was a parent/sibling with my youngest siblings being 18 years younger. Once I had the courage to leave home (and not feel guilty for not supporting my family; and I was guilt tripped by family and friends) I realized how much of my youth I lost being a teen mom to my siblings. I will enjoy* being single and child free proudly until I’m ready for that commitment and responsibility as an adult.
Matt Walsh saying “she could have had kids and still be doing BASICALLY whatever she want with her life today” is hilarious. Because She currently is doing EXACTLY what she wants with her life, including NOT HAVING KIDS.
He’s not even correct about doing whatever you want when your kids are older. My grandma had to help my mom raise me and my siblings instead of choosing to live as she wanted. He forgets that it can also be stressful to have adult kids. Many nowadays can’t afford to move out which ends up falling on you to help support them. Even if they move out and have their own families, there can be issues with marriage and if they get divorced it will be added stress to you because their issues are yours too. They could end up having financial problems later on and needing your help. They might need you to look after their own kids making you re live the experience. My bosses wife is constantly babysitting her 7 grandchildren so her kids can work. I would much rather not deal with all that and just travel whenever because truth is having kids is a stress for life. They could end up disabled. They could die and leave you depressed. I could go on. So so many reasons why I don’t want them.
Hey these white supremacists' men don't mess around! Any woman that doesn't SUBMIT shall be FORCED to submit! They like to flex their big steroid pumped up muscles! 🤣
Not Really a threat to anyone but herself, because Women need Sex more than Men. Women can have multiple orgasms so yes they definitely need sex. That’s why women own seduction, some female teachers even seduce their underaged Students.
Yes, I do believe that some right wingers and religious zealots consider single women to be loose cannons. They are not bogged down by a ton of children or a husband to "lead" them. They throw monkey wrenches into the whole happy family unit paradigm. Although it is unspoken, these people believe that everyone should get married and have children. Free choice shouldn't be an option.
I’m a “childless woman pushing 50” and I have never been happier. My aunt is 83 and never had kids and spent a fun life as an equestrian. These are also the “nice” guys who will leave you with all of the housework and cooking because it’s so-called “women’s work”.
Although motherhood is special, there are so many other ways of nurturing the world besides having children. I myself have only one child, but I am a teacher. I’ve been at it for 29 years now. And I figured on average I’ve had 817 children pass through my life. If that ain’t motherhood, I don’t know what is. 😂
I couldn't agree more. raising children today requires a dual income in most cases. Gone are the days of the happy housewife at home doing the so-called domestic thing. If a woman chooses to be a career woman as well as have children then the Man MUST be a part of that if they are a couple. Or if a couple decides 1 or the other is going to be a stay at home parent that also has to be supported. women have the absolute right to choose and noone except maybe a spouse gets to tell her what to do or have input unless its asked for. Why have we stopped repecting people??
Yep, we do any and all kinds of work. While they kick back, and watch a soccer football Basketball, baseball, and scratch-their-balls that we cater. This woman job is hard enough without some stranger telling us what the heck to do with our bodies.
@@tonyvanmil8571 raising kids today requires a dual income? Then please explain to me how I am the only income for my 5 person family. Right! Women have said they would have more kids if they can get some affordable childcare and housing. But instead they attack women for working and millennials for killing the housing market but offer no solutions
They want everyone to have kids, even if that means having them be born into broken homes and horrible economic conditions, so that they can go on to blame broken homes and poor economic conditions for the mental health issues and violence and then criminalize everything to fill their jails and prisons. These people literally want people born into the same environments that THEY claim breed criminals, only to turn around and punish them with zero empathy. These people are sadists.

I literally just read a Reddit thread where people working in aged care were saying that the happiest, healthiest and most visited residents in the nursing home were childless women in their 90s. Not only were they thriving physically but they had SO many special people whose lives they'd contributed to over the years and these people regularly came to see them, whereas a lot of the people with children were never visited except on Christmas. So this "childless woman dies alone" thing and the "have kids so someone will look after you when you're old" thing is a total lie.

The reason why these "men" are so upset that women like Chelsea Handler are happy and comfortable with their choice not to have children, is that it is women like her that are not wasting their nights wishing they had the opportunity to have these guys children. The other reason is that women like her are "men" like thats biggest threat. They are strong, independent, financially secure and well educated and most of all, free! And thats the biggest threat of all, isnt it, a womans freedom!

1. "Childless mother" is an oxymoron 2. As a woman who also possesses a commercial driver license, and drives VERY large vehicles for a living, I can attest to the fact that both men AND women can be trash drivers AND trash parkers.
I'm a mechanic for coal trucks, and OMG does it burn me alive when people talk shit about women not being able to drive. The female drivers almost never tear anything up, almost never break down, don't gripe when they lose a couple loads because their trucks need maintenance, don't constantly rip off their mud flaps backing up to the dump. The male drivers, on the other hand, are constantly wrecking or ripping their steps and mud flaps off, won't come in for maintenance and let their oil get so low that their wheels come flying off on the highway, beat the hell out of their trucks, and most of all cry and complain and gossip more than any other kind of human beings I've ever met in my entire life, and at one point I was a teenage girl, so that's saying something. I can't tell you the number of times I've had to get out and parallel park for men, get out and drive because it's snowing, Even just drive on roads because they're too curvy. There are men and women who are absolute shit drivers, the only difference is that there are no women who will make jokes about men being inherently awful drivers and then go immediately back over something.

Loved this episode. They are so obviously trying to put women in “their place” like everyone else in the world. Everyone needs a label and to be put in a place - which is not on the top shelf - which is reserved for rich white men.
As someone with a 2 year old, I TOTALLY understand and respect child-free by choice. It’s a lot of work, 24/7, never stops, and you won’t know if you like being a parent til you become one. As a 51 year old woman married with no kids I have to say not having children is the best decision I ever made and all my friends with kids are jealous and live vicariously through my husband and I.
Looking at my highschool classmates years later the people that had kids got messed up, they aged faster, loss their hair and got fat and the childless are looking good for their age I'm impressed
DAMN, that part right there. I worked 40+ for years, to keep my children in a descent home with descent schools. One fulltime job and 4 part time jobs.
I'm no millionaire. I worked 60 hour weeks much of my life, raised 3 kids, and am now disabled. AND I will say it... life isn't that hard if you have a good work ethic and a good attitude. Of course your milage may vary.
Chelsea's segment was THE best EVER! My youngest daughter has NEVER liked babies, her entire life. As a teenager she declared she did not want children, ever. Her step-mom gave her all the right wing grief generally given to a woman when she makes this decision and told my daughter, "you will change your mind when you get older." Um, no. She's in her mid 20's now and more sure that she has made the correct decision and having children is definitely not in her future.
I have 4 kids, the youngest is 25, and I can tell you I have not stopped being a parent, as a matter of fact, now they are grown I worry as much because I don't have them within my eyesight!! If you are aware of all this and still want kids, fine but dont push it on anyone!
Five years ago i changed careers from Accountant to nurse, i was 50 when i made that decision. I am a 55 year old childess and happily married happy woman - i choose not to have children. Dying alone is not synonymous to childless people, i have seen a lot of old people die alone because of family fight, that is the saddest kind of death, knowing you have children but they have no interest in seeing you or being there in your final hours. So if you are having children to not die alone, good luck!
As a nurse who has previously worked in long term care facilities aka nursing homes... I would say that about half of the residents (patients) were dumped in there by their children...and they rarely visit. So much for that "but if you don't have kids, who's gonna take care of you when you get old?" Probably the same people who'll be taking care of you...the nursing home staff.
I'd argue that having kids just because you want them to take care of you when you're old and sick is pretty selfish and heartless. Watching a parent die is excruciating
@@Budrica watch anyone die is excruciating, however, that is not an excuse to not be present during orwhilst and then after the deal. Say good bye to your loved one sonthey knownthey are not alone. To which I say, bullshit.
I have known a few women who chose not to have children. Some were married, some had a partner (both male and female), some were single. Most of them were childless by choice, and were happy that way. I have more respect for a woman who makes a conscious choice about such a big and important decision than one who "accidentally" gets pregnant, and is unfit or utterly unprepared. It is a hard job, being a good mother!! Being a good parent!! I wanted two children once upon a time, but I had one who I adored, and meant the world to me! Unfortunately her father was not good dad material (or husband material), and I knew how hard it was being a single parent, and as I never found what I considered an acceptable replacement during my childbearing years, I opted out of having any more. I'm grateful for what I had and have. The point is, it is a hard job and a personal choice, and is nobody else's business!!!
Kinda hard to be a stay home mom when your boyfriend, partner, husband walks out or divorces you…then do everything they can to not pay their child support, even when you have a court order and when you get a check for $5 and call the state AG office and be told you should be happy you got something…you wonder why more women are choosing not to have children
The people complaining about a woman living her life either are envious that they themselves couldn’t figure it out earlier, that parenthood was never an obligation or are upset that women can no longer be controlled like in their dark ages. Let them seethe and be miserable lmfao
I'm a Conservative and raising kids is one of the most life-altering, limiting, and time-consuming HUGE responsibilities a human being can undertake. I respect anyone's decision to choose to avoid such a responsibility regardless of their rationale. Nobody should feel obligated to raise a child. They could choose not to literally because they want to avoid having to change diapers and I'd respect that. The bottom line, these are personal decisions and people need to quit sticking their noses in other people's personal business.
My mom was married when she had my sister and me. My father left her high and dry to marry her best friend. My mom was forced to be a single mother because my dad also did not pay one penny in child support. Also my father will die alone because none of his kids want anything to do with him. My mother said if she had it to do all over again she would not have had kids because it's too hard to do alone.
I'm 72 years old. When I was in my 20's I finally had my tubes tied. There were several reasons. I really didn't want children. I couldn't use either the IUD or the pill. Another part of my decision -- no support in the US for women with children, no social programs to help women raise children at all. It was a choice of having a career that would afford a living wage or poverty. Where are the men in this subject? Throughout my life, I have been criticized by men for my selfish attitude of not having children. For me -- this one decision was the best decision of my life.
I'm a 43 year old father of 3 and I love it. One of my brothers is a year younger than me and has no children of his own, he loves it. We're both living our lives and enjoying it.

My wife and I were on a trip in Costa Rica. Like many tours we have been on the guide asked everyone how long they have been married and how many kids they have. We had been through this too many times with people feeling so sad for us b/c we don't have kids, by CHOICE. So when it was our turn I said, " We have been married 25 years. We don't have any children. We have money." Everyone fell out. The tone of the group changed dramatically. Some asked us if they should have another kid. So it is my standard line today when I am asked about my kids.
When people ask me if I want kids I say “no, my mom birthed enough children for me to raise” 😅 then I get a different and darker kind of pity and laughter 🤭 Next time they should mind they business.
I have THE MOST supportive husband, and I've realised after having kids that I didn't make this choice informed or critically minded. I did it because 'everyone does' and I thought I'd regret one day not trying it...completely oblivious that I'd be giving up peace of mind FOREVER. Some women don't realize there's a choice. It's just expected of you. ---- at least nowadays women feel comfortable admitting, "I love my children *BUT* . . . if I knew then what I know now, fill in the blank. This should go both ways. Everyone should shut up about how people choose to live their lives. The only exception would be in the event that someone's choices are negatively impacting your life or someone else's, but this would have to be proven and not assumed.
My grandma had an average husband, 3 kids and an ok life. She use to say that she love her kids and was proud of them but if she could go back on time she wouldn’t have not even one. No just for her but also for them. Just pay attention to every day’s news.
I'm a childfree person and I loved the video. I thank my life decisions everyday that I don't have kids right now. So many people I went to high school with are struggling because they have multiple kids and with inflation they are at their wit's end. I'll never understand why if someone procreates is anyone's business other than the potential parents. If the US doesn't want to fund social programs to support parents they should be prepared for the birth rate to dip because millennials and gen z listened and are listening when we were told don't have kids you can't afford.
🙏AMEN! Keep strong in your convictions. You sound like a smart and temperate person. My husband and I have been married for almost 26 years, and we have spent our time enjoying each other, our disposable income, our home, and the world around us. We are child-free, guilt-free, and worry-free 💛
Children are expensive & require a lot of work. It makes sense that lots of people (women & men) do not want children. I am more concerned about people who have kids & are doing a crappy job raising them.
I’m a 71 year old woman who chose not to have kids. And have never regretted it for one moment! My life has been lived in such a wonderful way- one I could not have dreamt of if saddled with children like my poor Catholic mother who had six kids was. I looked at that smart, adventurous woman, held back from experiencing the life she should have had and knew, not for me! Not for me. And I certainly do not feel bad about it nor will allow anyone to make me feel bad about it. Just sayin’.☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ And, BTW, I was married and my husband agreed!
I have 2 grown up kids, 31 and 27. Neither of them wants kids and that's their choice. I've never once tried to push them one way or another. Having kids is a life changing event and such a personal choice you should never be bullied or guilted or whatever into having or not having children.

70% of divorces are initiated by women. Women are not afraid to be alone. The guy kept saying, she is alone, so unhappy...dude,please!!! Better alone than in a marriage with a baby-man.
I have 3 daughters. One says she doesn’t want kids. I support her 100%.
Uh, you're right. They were born controling.

Good. I support your choice. The fewer leftist white Americans there are in the world, the better.

Not only were they thriving physically but they had SO many special people whose lives they'd contributed to over the years and these people regularly came to see them, whereas a lot of the people with children were never visited except on Christmas.
I don't think the arguement is that people are having children so that they take care of them when they are old, it is saying to childless adults that, because they choose to not have kids, they will die alone. To which I say, bullshit.
I’ve never understood why people make it their business whether someone has kids or not. I never truly wanted kids and it makes me happy.
Republicans love bringing laws into the bedroom especially if you are a woman
Nothing makes men like that miserable like a single, successful, and happy woman.
I think men who are single etc. can trigger them as well, especially if their home life isn't as happy as they make out. Jealousy is a nasty thing.
Chelsea Handler is pure fire on wheels! She is a force to be reckoned with, and the GOP are seriously outclassed by her.
@FreeSpeechArmy Matt Walsh 😂😂😂😂🤮🤮🤮, now that is a joke!
Kinda hard to be a stay home mom when your boyfriend, partner, husband walks out or divorces you…then do everything they can to not pay their child support, even when you have a court order and when you get a check for $5 and call the state AG office and be told you should be happy you got something…you wonder why more women are choosing not to have children
too right.
Truth.
If that guy was happy he wouldn't be so focused on making women have babies that they don't want. He wants women to be as unhappy as he is.
Dolly Parton decided not to have kids and America, rightly, considers Dolly to be an angel.
Betty White also didn't have any children of her own ... She enjoyed 99 years of life of comedy and Lord know Americans love that Golden girl
I am 60 and am completely happy as a childless woman
I love a woman who loves herself!♥️
The fact you have to say that tells me you are not happy! Coping witches
I'm a 43 year old father of 3 and I love it. One of my brothers is a year younger than me and has no children of his own, he loves it. We're both living our lives and enjoying it.
I love how the conservative talking heads insist she's really not happy. Ummm, she looks pretty darn happy to me!
I can relate ! As a single father who raised my kid, my career goal was to keep my job while dealing with all the issues of raising a child alone. I've never regretted my decisions, I've just learned to respect the other side. Chelsea speaks the truth.
Anyone who wants to discredit women without children are probably jealous we have all the time in the world for ourselves
Absolutely INDEED!
I’m a childless married man of 18 years, we love our freedom plus babysit for any number of our 15 nieces and nephews, as usual these conservative talking heads are so incredibly disconnected to reality, on purpose or not, we’ll never know….. unless Dominion sues them and we read their deepest secrets🤣🤣🤣🤣
quan...these anti-choice people are brainwashed by their cult religion. not by common sense.
In Germany the paid leave for mothers giving birth is 6 weeks prior and 8 weeks after. The costs of hospital, physician, nurses etc. are covered by you health insurance = 0 euro.
My daughter knew in HS she didn't want to be a mom. She is now in her fifties and she and her husband are very happy with their life.
I'm intentionally child-free and loving every minute of it. Best decision of my life.
I’m 47, cis woman & have no children. It’s glorious. I’ve never once regretted my decision. Do I imagine having kids & naming them? Sure. But that’s a 10 sec fantasy - not regret or 😃longing for a baby. My man & I have been happy for 12+ years.
You don’t regret it, but you imagine and fantasize about having kids and naming them? Cool. Makes sense.
This is America. Free to choose. I tell my grands that when they say they don't want children. To each their own.
@@jm31387 I don’t “fantasize” about having kids & naming them.🙄 Having a brief moment to imagine if I’d had kids…u know what? I don’t need to explain myself to some angry troll who doesn’t actually GAF, they just need to judge strangers to feel superior…IN A UA-cam COMMENTS SECTION.😃 Sweet lord
@@jm31387 it does to a lot of people. I fantasize sometimes about buying a flashy car.. but I decide that sort of money would be best spent on my house. There's no conflict in that. It's a choice of priorities that are right 'for me'. I have friends who chose not to breed- one of the happiest marriages- must be going on 40years. .. good for them.
Most people who are mad at us for not wanting children, are pretty miserable themselves, and they hate that we get to enjoy our life how we chose. My husband and I have been married for almost 26 years - no children, no guilt, no worries. We have spent our time and disposable income enjoying each other, our home, and the world around us. Miserable conservatives hate us 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Conservatives care about Chelsea Handler because she's successful and a very outspoken progressive who easily takes down the idiocy of conservatives when she speaks.
Even her existence is a take down of conservative "values."
Or also maybe she is kind of cringy and people sometimes go damn that’s cringy.
@@rodrigodelagarza7138 You're just scared of women like all right wingers.
Amen.
@@klocke-hx3xl so true.
Happy to have them, but I didn't make an informed decision. Respect to Handler.
Some women don't realize there's a choice. It's just expected of you. ---- at least nowadays women feel comfortable admitting, "I love my children *BUT* . . . if I knew then what I know now, fill in the blank. Some of them say "I wouldn't had so many," some would say "I wouldn't have them at all." Some would say "I would have had them earlier or later."
My "kids" are 35 and 42...and I still worry about them everyday.
Get kids because you don't want to die alone? That's the most selfish thinking I've ever heard.
I feel sorry for anyone whose argument for marriage or procreation is "you'll die alone."
Having children does not prevent one from dying alone anyways 🤷♀️
Sounds fantastic

As a woman who has tried to do it all (have a career, family, marriage, friendships) I send a big thank you to you for stating out loud that being a parent is hard. Trying to live the fallacy of being “superwoman” has gone damage to my physical and mental health. Exhausted.
I love Chelsea Handler. She's been making jokes about not wanting to be a mom since her first show on E!. She also has a very active dating life and seems to be happier than all the conservatives she's offending.
ABSOLUTE TRUTH! It’s traumatic to raise a child in America as a single parent who earns too little to afford basic needs and too much to qualify for anything. Florida, shame on you! Pay your teachers!
No one should feel "compelled" to have a child. Can be perfectly happy and fulfilled without procreating.
As a childfree woman I’m just so thankful to hear these men who have never given birth tell me that I’m unhappy. I just had no idea!

How is everyone there at Mar-a-lago, Dude?
I raised 6 kids, my husband never changed a diaper, did a feeding, let me take a break, went to a teacher conference, did a load of laundry. The list is endless. I spent my life exhausted and worried. It doesn’t end when they are no longer toddlers that statement was from a delusional knuckle dragger. Financially, it was crippling. I worked part time once they were all in school …
You should have picked a better husband. Seriously, I hope you're not still with him.
A childless mother could be pretty miserable, as her child would have died. A childless woman may be just fine in life.
I have a child but I loved Chelsea's comedy about being childless...now that's funny. Don't be so serious. Laughing lessens stress.
I can't imagine wanting children. And why do people concern themselves with whether or not someone has children.
Because it's a video that promotes destructive ideas for young girls and involves a lot of lying to them

Canadian here, we get 52 weeks with pay for parental leaves. With the option of up to an additional 6 months at partial pay. And it can be split up however between each parent.
And men need to keep their mouths shut about how women choose to live thier lives.
Simp 🤢🤮
She is the one attacking Al Pacino and De Niro for having kids! Simp shut up 🤫
@jamesclapp3969 ❤
Preach it Anna! Thank you, well said!
I’m a 71 year old woman who chose not to have kids. And have never regretted it for one moment! My life has been lived in such a wonderful way- one I could not have dreamt of if saddled with children like my poor Catholic mother who had six kids was. And I certainly do not feel bad about it nor will allow anyone to make me feel bad about it. Just sayin’.☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ And, BTW, I was married and my husband agreed!
I'm 68 never had kids NEVER MISSED NOT HAVING KIDS.
I have 2 grown up kids, 31 and 27. Neither of them wants kids and that's their choice. I've never once tried to push them one way or another.

70% of divorces are initiated by women. Women are not afraid to be alone. The guy kept saying, she is alone, so unhappy...dude,please!!! Better alone than in a marriage with a baby-man.
This! So many women are actually happier once they get out of a relationship with a man who acts like a child.
