People can freely express their emotions and there is no racism in Moscow
I wouldn't go as far as say it is completely non-existent in any country of the world. But indeed it is very hard to find in Russia. And definitely condemned by absolute majority of people of the country
There have been about 150 nationalities and all religions in Russia for thousands of years.

Only the official population of Moscow is 13 million, whereas at the moment there can be around 20 million people here.
Arbat street is a bit noisy, but if you turn left to Bolshoi Afanasyevsky Lane, you'll get immersed into a calm fascination of old Moscow architecture and I live between Afanasyevsky and Starokonyushenny lanes.
Most people you passed were tourists because Russians are usually more fit and better dressed. Other areas of the city center you will find locals who are more stylish and famous for beautiful highly cultured people regardless of their income. Compared to most of the city this are is rundown.
I have been living in St Petersburg for the last 24 years originally from California USA and Russia now is a much better place to live particularly if you enjoy culture since it is a very important part of life here and more accessible than anywhere else in the world

увы, но много курят, к сожалению. Да еще и курят на ходу, а не где-то в сторонке в специально отведенном месте. Могут просто идти в толпе и курить. Отсутствие воспитания и заботы об окружающих. Сегодня на уникума наткнулась около Ленинградского вокзала - этот "гений" шел в толпе по подземному переходу и дымил, это уже какой-то следующий уровень наглости и тупости...
у меня около университета, где я работаю, специально отведенное место для курильщиков есть - в метрах 10 от входа, там обустроили для них курилку. Так эти гады, простите за выражение, все равно толпятся около ворот и стоят, курят. Пройти невозможно, я уж о бычках молчу - просто бросают на землю и уходят.
Ненавижу курильщиков 😅но чем больше курильщиков, тем меньше курильщиков :)

The name Arbat comes from "arba" - a Turkic four-wheeled cart. That's why there are so many Turkish restaurants on this street.

In Turkey a car is called "araba". almost the same as "arba".
Whatever the origins of the street's name, they have nothing to do with the choice of restaurants on it. It also has a ton of sushi places, pizza places, kebab places, Georgian restaurants, Old-Western-style bars - any cuisine that's popular these days, including Turkish
