I had L4-5 fusion in 2019. Pain was unbearable post op. Never got better. Finally found out that on all my scans I had the surgeon left 2 screws in my nerve canal. This was for 4 years. I got the cage out as I'm obviously fused now. Has this ever happened with you or any of your colleagues? Is this common?

I've been partially bedridden, for years after a fall, I sustained bilateral SLAP tears, bilateral ankle and foot injuries, spine, knee, tbi, and more... I have only had one foot fixed so far and one shoulder repair that failed due to someone tipping at my arm 3 weeks post op. I cannot stand long, sit long, or lay long. I went from elite athlete level to frail and medically deconditioned. I'm having a neuroforaminal bilateral posterior approach TLIF with Nuvasive TDX. I'm so lost about what I can do now and have fusion in July. I'm so scared, and I have No help...

Thank you for this video. I just had a L2-5 laminectomy with fusion. 2rods 8 screws. Was painful in beginning but 9 days in much better. Im a huge athlete and just walking. anxious to get back to normal activities. I did a lot of core and leg work prior. It helped a lot.

Just had S1/L5 & L5-L4 spinal fusion and lamsectomy, had really bad nerves damage right side S1-L5 and ruptured L5. But I have pain in the right hips that’s been there since after surgery. Starting simple exercises and walking about a full block 2x’s aday and feels great, I would be 1000% better if I could get rid of the hip pain. Doctor says the nerves are healing and will fire off periodically and most of my hip pain is from the nerve regrowth.

Whilst I am a surgeon, I like to find ways for patients to avoid surgery and Professor Peter O'Sullivan has develooed the best clinically proven method for doing this in my latest video: ua-cam.com/video/AlNXwnS_7L4/v-deo.htmlsi=D8s8Zcqf4p1ZSD2t
