Dash 8 leader & Railfanning Fullerton

One incredibly rare Dash 8 Switcher unit 503 leading Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train 573 San Diego Santa Fe Depot to Los Angeles Union station. Amtrak Dash 8 Switcher unit 503 sounds great with it's mechanical bell and a great K5LA horn. It is great to see a Dash 8 leading a Pacific Surfliner train. The cabcar 6951 apparently broke sitting overnight in the yard at LA Union which I find funny on how a cabcar can break down not even in use lol moment. Dash 8's doing what new modern Siemens Chargers cant do which is pull a train. Friday really is the best day of the week. Here is my trip report from Solana Beach station to Fullerton on my 2nd favorite Amtrak route the Pacific Surfliner with a Dash 8 leader. Amtrak Dash 8 Switcher Unit 503 is a railfans and train lovers dream to film.
