that sounds like the digital packets from transmitter for the mic , if you take a cell phone and make a phone call and put it close to cb it will come across the speaker , this mic uses a similar digital signal like cell phones , it uses DECT 6 which is a digital spread spectim on 1900 mhz or 1.9 ghz which is same band that sprint and others use. if you move the base unit of this mic containing the transmitter as far away as you can it will not come across the speaker of your cb

mine dose not even sync with the base and it was make in that same noise
