For chopping tree though, I would prefer the Falchion and the Machete. But overall I'm gonna vote for bastard sword, not only because it's my favorite type of sword, but also for its practicality and versatility (that's why I fell in love with it two decades ago)
I really love the skid bracketing the core theme of the video; the TTRPG vibe truly fits the overall mood of these videos. It's also funny to see how the moment they hand a single edged sword to Tyranth, he just goes beast mode on the trees. 12:24 and 20:26 look so badass.
Realistically, specific swords aside, it should just be the sword that is most axe-like, which in the blade would be something like a kriegsmesser, or even more exaggerated would be maciejowski falchion. That kriegsmesser handle does look painful, though, both the material and the shape.

This was so much fun. 🔥
Amazing video!
I had nearly zero expectation on the katana. But hey! It went so well that actually performed better than the claymore AND kriegsmesser surprised me.
