    Hey guys, like your videos. FYI, I use one of my electric downriggers with a 2 lb. weight on, and attach my descending device, a quick way to send them down and bring the weight back up again …. Keep up the good work

    What did you guys catch the red snapper on? Pin or grunt? Thanks for the lesson new to this deep water fishing. Learning to crank and not yank

    • @groupermvp
      @groupermvp  2 роки тому

      yup to much heat no meat as the saying goes. Just keep constant pressure so the hook doesnt pop out. We used pinfish and grunts for them my favorite is grass grunts.

    Nice! What kind of bottom was that on? Big ledges? And how deep

    • @groupermvp
      @groupermvp  2 роки тому +2

      It’s rocky bottom. I’m gonna drop a camera down one of these days cuz I’m not sure exactly what it looks like. But I would assume big limstone rocks. And over 140 feet deep.

    what setup is Brent using? wondering what rod he uses?

    • @groupermvp
      @groupermvp  2 роки тому

      He’s using a truth reel and a st croix bottom rod. I think In his black drum video he goes over it. But it’s very undersized for the gags.
