Hey guys, like your videos. FYI, I use one of my electric downriggers with a 2 lb. weight on, and attach my descending device, a quick way to send them down and bring the weight back up again …. Keep up the good work
yup to much heat no meat as the saying goes. Just keep constant pressure so the hook doesnt pop out. We used pinfish and grunts for them my favorite is grass grunts.
Where do you guys fish out of? How far out? This was a great video. REAL Nice Gags. Moving to Tampa Bay Area in 26 days. 😁 Would love to learn the ropes. You guys charter ?
It’s rocky bottom. I’m gonna drop a camera down one of these days cuz I’m not sure exactly what it looks like. But I would assume big limstone rocks. And over 140 feet deep.
Funny.....I never heard Brent say "See ya dude" this trip. Ha! You guys hit the honey hole for sure.
Lol this trip he said see ya dude but into the fish box.

Nice! What kind of bottom was that on? Big ledges? And how deep

@@groupermvp 👍🏻do you find a lot of those spots on strike lines charts?
what setup is Brent using? wondering what rod he uses?
He’s using a truth reel and a st croix bottom rod. I think In his black drum video he goes over it. But it’s very undersized for the gags.
What setup were you using?
Avet hx raptor 80 pound braid, 80 pound top shot, 80 pound leader. on a calstar 40-100 pound blank
You where catching them gags in 50 or so feet?
Haha I wish I set the seaquilizer decending device to release the fish at 50 feet. But we were in over 140 feet of water.
@@groupermvp Awesome, diggin the channel btw, you ever get down towards Charlotte Harbor let me know!
Nice fishing.
Thank you 👍
That was a massive grouper. The water looks really calm too. Was it slack tide?
No current was moving just had 5 mph winds all day.
Wow!!! Those are some monsters!! How deep were you guys? That water was glass!
Thanks man yeah finally got a calm day out there. And we were fishing over 140 feet deep.
What a trip. Have you ever thought about doing consulting trips?
Thanks man I have not considered doing consulting trips yet.
