I disagree with Kinetic. It was complete malpractice playing Orji over Jadyn Davis after Orji threw the int. Not too mention, Alabama had 11 in the box, because nobody respects Orji's passing ability, and Orji wasn't really running either. He had one decent run, but he only averaged 2.2 YPC, so he wasn't really "escaping the pocket" as Kinetic stated. I hope Jadyn Davis doesn't transfer, but if you're on the bench while Sherrone Moore is playing musical chairs with QBs who are grossly deficient, and you still can't get on the field with Warren injured and Orji doing nothing but throwing INT's and handing the ball off, why wouldn't you transfer? I'm very happy Michigan won, but it's borderline malpractice that Jadyn Davis didn't play in this game!

The idea of Orgi having a skillset didn’t even translate to reality in the game. Orgi maybe played because he was loyal to the program so far over the years… that loyalty is the only thing that makes sense.
I think Davis is probably trash if he didn’t get in the game. That’s the best case scenario, because if he somehow chose not to get in the game, that’s an even bigger problem and he might as well just transfer.
Michigan didn’t even have their offensive coordinator in place, I doubt it matters at this point. Would’ve been nice to see som of the young guys but it is what it is

The quarterback has to command the team, call the right play, read the defense, make audibles, handle the snap…clean center Qb exchange, handoff to the running back…it’s obvious that the coaches trust Alex Orji to do these things. It’s obvious that Jayden isn’t ready to lead a team in a big game against Bama. These games matter. Momentum is paramount for the offseason. We’re not going to let some freshman to screw it up just so people like you can get your eyes on a player. Davis obviously isn’t ready to take on these responsibilities where Alex Orji is a leader and has been in big situations
