My boys weren’t into sports unfortunately it was video games! UGH… But I had family members and friends that had children in these scenarios! My niece got her arm injured from pitching (because of pitching) and parents kept pushing her! She eventually stopped playing!!
I agree. I think the point they were making was that these parents are so overzealous about sports that they can't even recognize their other achievements. But they could have been more clear about it, if that was the point they were making. Maybe even a line from the facilitator like "Wow! An astronaut! How amazing! As much as you want athletic success for your child, don't forget that they are more likely to find success outside of sports". Something like that :)
@Kevin is correct. It's supposed to be satire. A brand of humor where things are said as if they were serious. It doesn't need to be different - people just have to be better at spotting it. Americans are particularly bad, but other countries love satire. The British being a prime example.
The look she gives at 0:33 is hilarious. Like the facilitator should know “Spr/autumn”😂😂😂
very well done..... hope people pay attention

It's not bad to be an astronaut. That is what makes it funny. They are trying to show how out of touch the parents really are.
It's called "sarcasm". Dear Lord.
