I honestly don’t see the chemistry between them. I feel like when Archie first saw Veronica it was leaning more towards lust. Varchie lovers can hate me for this but I honestly can’t see their connection :(
The relationship between Archie and Veronica never felt real, it was like he was just flowing along but honestly never really loved her in THAT way. He just played his role as her boyfriend. She was bossy and controlling and snatch him in S1 knowing Betty was in love with him. I’m so glad he finally realized he’s always only been truly in love with Betty and the way he is around Betty is so much happier and better, they’re literally so comfortable with each other and have so much chemistry together. Barchie was always the slow burn of the show 😭🫶
