How to use turning peel on a Ooni oven.

- In today's video, I show you how to use a turning peel on a @Oonihq oven. If you follow the steps in the video you will learn how to use a turning peel. These steps/tips can easily be used for any other outdoor oven such as a Gozney oven.
Steps:
1) Do not stretch your dough to thin.
2) Do not make your pizza heavy and overtop.
3) Make sure your oven is heated to the right temperature to ensure the bottom cooks and sets.
5) Coming from the side of the pizza and never from the front.
Hope these tips help you to turn your pizza in the oven.

You’re welcome. I like to be around 454c to 482c. Hope that helps.
The AVPN International Standards on Neapolitan Pizza dictate a base cooking temperature of approximately 380-430°C with a dome temp of approximately 485°C and cooking times not to exceed 60-90 seconds.
I regret not getting a Koda 16. I just got the 12, but turning pizzas inside the oven is impossible :(
I know what you mean. I started out with the 12 and a year later upgraded to the 16. Definitely a big difference and wished I had done it earlier. The 12 is perfect for traveling and getting used to cooking. Reach out to Ooni and see if they upgrade you, of course you would have to pay the difference but maybe they can give you a little discount.
