Thank you Helen. This was the only CLEAR instruction how to thread the ribber plating yarn feeder! And your explanation is wonderful. I think I would need a 2-day intensive course with you on various experimental stitches.
Really nice video thank you! Can you tell me where I could find such a plating tool/ feeder for double bed? I can´t find it on the internet. Thank you!!
Hello, thank you for this easy to follow tutorial! I’ve been having issues with both threads catching the stitches not just the first row, but EVERY row. It’s driving me mad! I’d be really grateful if you have any insight into why this is happening, please. I’ve tested different yarns and tensions, but the plating (back) yarn keeps skipping stitches. Thank you!
Hello. I have an SK840 which has a double yarn feeder. Would I still need to use a Plating yarn feeder (is there one for SK machines?) to get these lovely brioche effects? Love your videos thanks.
Lyn O'Neill lots of places - Todd & Duncan, Colourmart, Brown Sheep NatureSpun is good for US small quantities and good for learning because it is easy to knit with
I have a Singer 322 and the ribber carriage has a lever that can point either to "P" or to a circle shape. Does this mean that it can be used for plating? When you move the lever to "P" a second yarn holder moves... My machine didn't come with any additional plating feeder for the main carriage since it was second hand and in very bad shape :( (Sorry for the long question, I just haven't been able to find this information)

Thank you for the great video. I’d love to see a tutorial on how you accomplished some of the fancy plated swatches.
Your videos are always so well done. Thank you!
Love your way of explanation, and thank you for giving ideas with moving stitches
I need to come and live with you!!! My ribber is still in the box - Lol. But seriously, your videos are very inspiring, thank you.
Love your explanations. Not too fast but not too slow,
Really different stitches - I had wondered about doing it this way. Many thanks, very clear and useful.
Perfect, thanks! I like the fabric and movement of the stiches.
Thank you for this clear video. Do you have a video on weaving?
