Perfect for fighting orcs, or epic cinematic battle. your music in comparison has balls, sound says for deeds, plus in comparison to modern "epic ultra dark cinematic" stuff it has everything needed. tension, momentum, glory. others are like "oh im so dark bow down i did nothing yet but im coming only to do nothing and be vanquished by power of friendship. I LOVE YOUR WORK !!! Could i use this track in animation as battle music ? it fits perfectly with vision of good and evil knight battling to last in epic war.
From a game design perspective it is way too intense for an in-game music. I can guarantee you that most players will be fairly tired of hearing this over and over everytime they encounter a scavenger. Could work with some boss fight but not as a regular battle theme you hear over and over. Good job nonetheless! :)
I for one kinda like the intense and tight battle themes. While yes, this is perhaps a bit too much and repetition would make the theme less impactful (like in Gothic 3) , the Gothic Remake Teaser had a bit too light hearted battle theme on the other hand. I guess it's hard to find a middle ground, however Gothic is a grim themed game so I prefer battle music to be on the tenser side.
In todays games you are the strongest dude in the world after a few hours. In Gothic you had not a single chance against wolves or orcs. Loved it!

As for standart battle theme is a bit intense but for boss fights like black troll,dragon or orc boss it fits perfect
