Watching 24/7 4wd out of Australia, they use a specific hitch setup that rotates on more than 1 axis like a ball primarily does without bind. Check into it.
I have a few 12v water pumps and run one of those big clear water filters in line. Also built rocket stoves that have copper lines wrapped around between the chimney and the exterior exhaust pipe. Use gravity feed tank that drops water into copper lines the fire heats the copper boiling the water driving it upward to a clean water tank. I also welded a pipe running threw the fire chamber that i blow air into and tube the hot air into the rv ..i put heat sinks in the heated pipe..use rocket to grill, boil, distill ect. Also made a bucket water filter.put activated charcoal layered with sand, pebbles ect .run water through it also.water comes out clear and clean
some input for your power; there are generators out there that are duel fuel (i think they even make a conversion kit for your honda). I would recommend using the generator to charge your batteries instead of just using it straight. with this (depending on setup) you would only need to run the generator for an hour or so. I also like the idea of using the trailer batteries for your home. you may use it like a "tesla" wall during emergencies, or even year round. i think more people can see the bang for the buck like this.
What an awesome trailer it really does look like you can live in it quite a long time. Thanks for the demo T Jack although you forgot to show the inside of the box but that's okay I got an idea and you're actually didn't go all the way around the box to check it out which I would like to have seen that's okay I got an idea anyway thanks again for the video. Stay vigilant!
Throwing money at the problem and getting very little space in return. For only 8k got a 30-footer travel trailer. Loads of space and now self contained for long term on or off-grid living or survival. More than enough storage space.
That's 10 times more than I paid for our enclosed trailer and smaller. My enclosed trailer is also a work trailer for construction. Usually no water or power at jobs because doing foundations. T.J. I make these comments for xoc to help them. Around 50k is a whole years wages for most. What I do like is all in one. The ground clearance is great. Our 2 track to property ate 2 trailer tires this last summer. Ripped them right off the rims. And a rut shifted axle under trailer. Bent the axle too. 4200 lb axle my ask. Went with wider axle to match axle with on truck. Stronger fenders too. People always stand on fenders to get to top for materials or ladders. I have been looking for a horse trailer. They are built more towards my needs. By law to be residence we can only have 2 people sleep in trailer with heater being 14 feet long. It's about residence laws bedroom space and amount of fresh air. Camping those laws do not apply. Surviving ringworm on youtube had to increase his cabin size to 14 feet because dumb laws. Only applies if living in it.
Thanks for your insightful comment. Can you recommend any other models and/or another website that gives a similar analysis as yours on trailers/RVs/vans? Thanks in advance
There are solar options that don’t require direct sunlight. Yes, it’s way more efficient to have direct sun exposure on the panel but you do get a small charge with ambient light. Do your research before you buy.
@Britain Porter ... Per our comments to others ... ... Part two will cover the inside of the XOC. Videos of this length don't typically do great. Our society's collective attention span is very short these days. As it is, the average view duration for this video is less than six minutes, which is less than one third of its total length.
Great Vid another option is to ditch the generators and go with the ECOFLOW Delta Max and Dual Fuel Smart Generator and Solar Panels all one system . Check out you tuber Jasonoid-solar power ,batteries just did a vid on that setup .
These types of trailers really don't even make sense though. They cost too much for their size and what they offer. For same price can get something like a micro minnie or black series that you can actually sleep inside of and mod out however you want. Why would anyone wanna go through the hassle of having to climb up into and out of a tent platform when they can just have a walk in camper trailer with a bed or even a large pop up they can just step into. Even if not using the bed can still store more, and more safely since it's enclosed. Larger trailer just offers more at same or near price point. These types of trailers would have to be half the price of a micro minnie or similar small travel trailer to even get my attention.
You need to watch the full video. You can sleep inside this trailer. It's got an amazing bed, stereo, ac, heater and lights on the inside. So ya if you couldn't sleep inside of it that would make sense but you can sleep inside of these. The tent is just a backup or secondary option for extra people. But yes if it;s out of your price range I get that. But for people looking for top end quality this is the answer.
Go look at the prices of comparable companies. There’s also 30k off roading trailers like this coming from the same company in a different model. That’s a pretty normal price.
@Kiss it now ... That will be in part two. Videos of this length don't typically do great. Our society's collective attention span is very short these days. As it is, the average view duration for this video is less than six minutes, which is less than one third of its total length.
Ya it’s a 1200m with the right barrel scope shooter, but I’ve shot that one in the video 650-700 multiple times. Even the short Springfield SOCOM’s can reliably hit that distance. I’ve done that with open sights in Texas actually. In reality 1,000m or 915 yards is the max effective range of a 308 with that barrel length according to the US military.
Show us the axle under it. Light weight trailers are really usually poorly constructed. I have an enclosed trailer. We swapped the suspension out on it. Those stock leaf springs didn't last. When it comes to sleeping in a trailer or tent ventilation is key. Those are my to biggies when it comes to a trailer. With out good ventilation trailers become ice palaces. I see you have upgraded tires on it. Trailer tires are not made for off roading. 5 days of rain means your solar don't do well. A super capacitor bank will allow batteries to last longer. The super capacitors will cycle not the batteries. Lithium batteries have about 22000 cycles and super capacitors last over a million cycles. The super capacitor bank acts as soft start too. I would not be able to run skill saw off 2 12v batteries all day without the super capacitors. Lead acid off gases and should be kept where they can vent. Solo bear hunting and camping I was glad to have oil lamps after 5 days of rain. Tarping the whole trailer will help in cold weather. Most of the time we just cut wood while camping. I think a removable grille would work better than propane. Our portable hot water tank only raises water temp by 35-40 degrees and spring water is 48*F. Sleeping bags after few days become damp from body moisture if not dried out. Carrying 5 gallon buckets up hill sucks. A small 2 stroke water pumps are great. They lift water higher than most electric pumps. Reusing glass jars is a great way to have camping cups and storage. We had our berkey bucket fall over and snap black filters. A bow is quieter than a gun too.
It has independent Timbren “axles” in it. They alone retail above 1K and so there’s no axle to catch on anything. The trailer will clear more than your truck/jeep pulling it. Diesel brothers took this exact trailer up hells revenge. This has 2 generators on it, gas and propane. You could just get a dual fuel too but you can stay a very long time with heat and electricity if needed. It’s got a vent fan, opening door windows, an AC and Propane heater as well with an extended frame so you can literally crawl all around this thing without touching the ground.
Also, trying to make a good argument for having this thing as a "bug out" camper for when SHTF is a poor argument and even worse selling point. It just makes it look bad. Seriously, that whole hypothetical should just be left out. Cause if you think for one second you gonna just be cruisin around with a camper or trailer of any kind without getting robbed or killed, you are out of your mind and out of touch with reality. Speaking of out of touch with reality... $50,000 for this is insane. The "optional" $3,000 for tent is even more of an insult. Whole thing just reeks of rip off.
So everyone with a camper is going to get robbed if an earthquake, fire, or city riot happens? Riiiight. Come on man, not all SHTF events involve people trying to kill each other off. In fact, most don't as was evident by the California forest fires, the earthquakes they had earlier, and most hurricanes and tornados in the SW and even Ukrain before the Russians made it to most cities. The problem is people always wait around until it's too late and then try to fight their way out. The only events I can even think of that people went nuts are the riots mid city, and hurricane Katrina. Drive the other direction though and with this drive over ditches, curbs, whatever. The goal is to get out before that concern becomes an issue and have something useful in the meantime for when SHTF isn't happening. If you wait until people are trying to rob or kill you to get out of the area, that's just bad planning. This trailer or a trailer like it gives you the option to get out now at the drop of a hat and that's the smart move so that it is before the stupidity happens.
@TJack Survival ... Good examples. Another one is bugging out before we get hit with a hurricane here in Florida. We have three trucks, but for people who don't have trucks they can tow a small teardrop trailer with a small car.
@@SurvivalDispatch even a Prius or Tesla can pull this trailer but it’s meant to be pulled by something more like a Rubicon or Rover to places cars should never go.
@@TJackSurvival yea good luck doing that when you are stuck in back to back traffic for miles and miles. I take you haven’t ever been on an evacuation route before?
Car towing sure but too expensive for that. If someone doesn’t have a truck or towing capable vehicle chances are that’s cause they have an economy car. And they aren’t gonna throw down 50 grand for a trailer. Literally worth more than the car. Just not practical or reasonable.
The price is comparable to other similarly built trailers. There are cheaper trailers out there on the market, but they don't have the axle type, the beefy frame, or the aluminum welded water box or any of the other upgrades. They (other manufacturers) cut corners to make stuff cheaper. These trailers are absolutely top-end and yes expensive but the price is fair given what goes into ruggedizing them.
@Man of The Tombs … Too rich for us too but it gave us some great ideas for the cargo trailer we’re currently converting. With that being said, if someone can afford high end stuff all the power to them.
@@SurvivalDispatch I agree completely. After I calmed down and thought about it for a bit, I came up the same conclusion you did. Thank you for the vid!
@Man of The Tombs ... You made a legit observation. The target market for this type of trailer is probably pretty small. However, as stated above, good inspiration and ideas for the rest of us. 🙂

Very cool
I'm waiting until I can buy an up armored humvee, I used to live in one. But that trailer is cool. Thanks for the content.
