This is so fantastic - we recently discovered that my son cannot remove cholesterol but had already fallen in love with whipped cream. Life changing (and giving) stuff for us. Genius !

I personally love this recipe, I had a clear vanilla extract so the color wasn't an issue, and i had all the ingredients already. I love how rich in flavor it is but it doesn't have a chemical or oily base or after taste that store bought whipped cream has. I love it! Definitely subscribed!
Hi! Thank u soo much for showing such a way to make whipped cream...cream and such r awfully expensive around our place...and pay no attention to haters...ur doing an awesome job!!
Thanks man! 😎 I just started keto carnivore, so I substituted powdered minooka fruit for the sugar. Worked out great! Add a couple of teaspoons of cacao, chill for a few hours, and you end up with an awesome chocolate mousse!
What a brilliant idea, remembering to keep whisking when it's in the fridge may have caught out quite a few people. Cream without much fat. Love it, thank you.
Great tip! I don't eat meat products/gelatin so I looked it up and you can also sub the gelatin with agar agar. Same amount. Hope this helps anyone who doesn't eat gelatin products. You can also make panna cotta with agar agar instead of gelatin.
Hi, I don't mind gelatin, but as I did not have any on hand at the time, I used my agar agar. It does not work. Or as Simple Cooking chef says, peradventure it is a matter of trying and trying. But I bought gelatin as I know from the video it does work, but still trial and error, but better than agar agar - for me!
Amazing! this recipe works. I poured the gelatin powder into the milk. Then I boiled the mixture and blended it. I blended the mixture every half an hour. I replaced the sugar with sweet condensed milk. The vanilla essence gives a punch to the taste. Not only does the texture resembles whip cream but also cost lesser than whip cream. Thanks for sharing, chef.
Watkins sells a clear vanilla extract so we can omit the slight color change and keep the white, white. This is such a great idea and money saver too. Thank you so very much. Can't wait to try and taste.
That's the truth it's so expensive to buy it in my country and its so annoying because I am always scared to come across a recipe that calls for whipping cream, infact I am tired of trying to get something that could at least work as whipping cream but today is a very day for me to have discovered this

Going to try this recipe. Decades ago in England I made cream from unsalted butter. Once again the cost has risen by double so well worth a try. Thank you.
yeah i was disappointed too,i thought he meant regular or at least 2% milk which is what we always buy ,,maybe it can still be done with that by tweaking the ingredients more
I made it you guys!!! It’s perfect, thick and milky, taste 90% similar to normal whipping cream. I use 3,1% fat milk, but I only put in a freezer for about 15 min, then beat it 3m. It’s a great way to reduce the calorie since milk is low cal than heavy whipping cream.
@@karlyn369 I just use regular store bought milk. Maybe you should increase whipping time or gelatin. After whipping for 1m, I put it back in the fridge for 3m, then take it out and whip again, I repeat the process for 3 times or until I get the consistency that I like. I even try with yogurt and it works too.
Every time you taste your food, you seem so surprised, like you were just randomly throwing ingredients together and you were surprising yourself with the result.
I wounder the same thing, why he put it into a smaller. He could have tasted it right from the mixing bowl. I don't think he was going to eat it all at the time, he just tasted a little to let us know if it tasted good. ( from the look on his face i have my doubts if he really liked it and it seemed as though he realized he made the face cause he tooked a second taste and smiled ) but back to him putting the whipped cream into a smaller bowl before tasting it just made it look neater for the camera and afterwards he probley covered the bowl and put it into the refrigerator until he wanted more and a smaller bowl would fit better in the frig. Although, how long would it keep in the frig. Whipped cream in a bowl won't keep as long as a can of whipped cream in the frig. :)
I think this is genius! for when you have Whole milk and gelatin on hand, and no whipping cream. Looks like Cool Whip (which I actually prefer to real whipped cream) 😊
Used milk powder (about 40 grams and 230ml water), and initially thought it didn't work, but after a couple of cool/mix cycles it turned out pretty nice!
SimpleCookingChannel I believe this will help all those like me who sometimes are running short of time and money and need a quick solution for icing some dessert - Thumbs up and Thanks a lot for a real good solution.I think also to keep it really white we could add Clear vanilla extract.

It might be little easier to go the more traditional route with heavy whipping cream, vanilla and confectioner's sugar. Just whip it all together and it's done.
So right! Heavy cream can get expensive, especially in my country but using this recipe saves a lot of money and you can make loads of this for the same price as a bottle of cream.

A can of "carnation" milk is a higher bf content, when mixed with equal amt of water is equal to whole milk at 3.25% bf (butter fat). Chill in your freezer for a couple of hours will whip up like whipping, my dad used it for making iced cream. It doesn't have very long hold as whipped cream, so the addition of gelatin would improve its standing time.

Hello.. I'm from Brazil and I love your channel and recipes! In this recipe you use full fat milk (normal milk) or heavy milk? Thanks! I want to try here!! ;)
To the people being ugly knock it off if you don't like it don't use it, that is simple! To the people being supportive; great for you keep it up! Now to the chef a question; could you use flavored gelatins to make awesome flavors and could you try skim milk or almond milk to make it healthier? Just a thought.
Awesome! How cool and easy is that! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️. I'll try this soon...with one small change. I'll swap the Gelatin with Agar Agar (which is a veg substitute for Gelatin) and put in a comment on how the recipe turns out. Thanks again! You do make cooking look super simple!!
I’m curious- why are you worried about gelatin when you’re using milk? Milk is also not vegan... It’s actually terrible because the cows are kept pregnant so they continue to create milk, then the calves are generally taken away from them, which stresses the mothers to the point they cry out. I know because my aunt and uncle had a dairy farm....
SimpleCookingChannel If you make this with 16 oz.'s of milk & when your cream is complete add in a 14 oz. can of sweetened condense milk you will have an ice cream base & can either freeze it as is or throw in crushed cookies for cookies & cream ice cream. I just made some today but I used heavy whipping cream because I had not seen your video yet. I made it from another UA-cam video "Ice Cream with 2 ingredients & no machine." It taste great...please try it with your way of making whipped cream. I'd love to see your video.
ok you guys are missing the point this is another way to make a whipped cream besides using traditional whipping cream fyi this is cheaper than buying heavy cream
It's actually not cheaper when you think about it you buy the store brand gelatin and milk it comes out to ten dollars when the heavy cream you get from it would only cost half that it's a neat trick to use if you don't have it on hand though I prefer egg whites and boiling my gallon of milk for the whole cup I get from it and whisk that together with some sugar and vanilla
@@glendelsied7979 Where do you live? A gallon of milk and a packet of gelatin plus vanilla would be maybe 5 dollars where I am. Which is about the same as a quart of heavy cream.
What a good idea, I am always on a diet and avoid real cream and long to eat it. Now this will help me eat cream from now on, definitely less fat. Thanks a lot.
this just cracks me up when he is about to taste it, but he hesitates because he thinks it isn't good but he needs people to view so he tries not to puke

Hello.. I'm from Brazil and I love your channel and recipes! In this recipe you use full fat milk (normal milk) or heavy milk? Thanks! I want to try here!! ;)
Full fat. 4% :D
Wyllame Stella hi
you are a genius
Thanks :D
Brilliant!! Do you think this would work with say, soy milk?
Thanks. I haven't tried that before so i don't know :D
If there is full cream soy milk :D
TheOneAndOnlyMe92 actually it exist! u know V soy right?
Ok, Soy milk. There, I said it.
superbbbbbbbbbbbb.............
such easy with easily available ingredients and cheap too!!!
Thanks :D
An excellent way to demonstrate n show the making of full cream from milk. Well done n God bless.
To the people being ugly knock it off if you don't like it don't use it, that is simple! To the people being supportive; great for you keep it up!
Now to the chef a question; could you use flavored gelatins to make awesome flavors and could you try skim milk or almond milk to make it healthier? Just a thought.
Yes you can :D
will you pls make anything without gelatine
There should be vegan gelatine alternatives available in most super markets
agar agar find it its a vegan gelatin i think
Thanks
There is halal gelatine, agar-agar is a substitute if you don't find halal gelatine, but slightly different than gelatine, not exactly the same..
Ok :)
Agar agar....
I’m curious- why are you worried about gelatin when you’re using milk? Milk is also not vegan... It’s actually terrible because the cows are kept pregnant so they continue to create milk, then the calves are generally taken away from them, which stresses the mothers to the point they cry out. I know because my aunt and uncle had a dairy farm....
hey dude so like i know this is a very late reply but how did it turn out with agar agar?
OBRIGADO POR COMPARTILHAR ESSA MARAVILHOSA RECEITA
I think you need to make up a fancy name for it... Like Whipped Milk jello. Confuse everyone !
lol :D
SimpleCookingChannel add me on ps4 hosaam-_-ali :D
That's a great idea.
Thanks :D
Good taste with only a tenth of the calories normal whipped cream has is a good reason for this recipe
Yes, the calories are way less then regular whipping cream. Great idea. 😊
Less fat too, tq frnd
@@glendelsied7979 Where do you live? A gallon of milk and a packet of gelatin plus vanilla would be maybe 5 dollars where I am. Which is about the same as a quart of heavy cream.
What a good idea, I am always on a diet and avoid real cream and long to eat it. Now this will help me eat cream from now on, definitely less fat. Thanks a lot.
U are a GENIOUS!!!! Is EXACTLY what I was looking to make low fat ice cream!!! ADORE YOU!! :P
You are most welcome :D
this just cracks me up when he is about to taste it, but he hesitates because he thinks it isn't good but he needs people to view so he tries not to puke
ikr😂
much easier to just go and buy whipping cream
Everything in life isn't about what's easier :D
lovetheatre100 not if your like me and craving a chocolate cream milk shake at midnight!
Lol
yup. More so if you have lots of money, and you are too lazy to compromise freshness with preservative filled stale food.
lovetheatre100 I can't find whipping cream in the stores I go to so there are people like me :(
Great ideas
Wow thanks for sharing this videos. Like it much 💖💖💖
Less fat to I would think.I think its brilliant!
:D
Michelle Formoso But more sugar. ;)
This is so brilliant! I'm wondering if I could try this method with coconut, macadamia or almond milk?
Laurie Bell i have used it with coconut milk with no problems. I actually plan to attempt with almond milk tomorrow. I also will use flavorings and colors and put this in popsicle molds for my littles. It makes a very simple popsicles recipe.
Wow!!
brilliant idea.
Thank you so mach for this video
Thanks for the simple ways to make butter and whipped cream. I will try them both this weekend.
I think I'll just stick to using heavy cream. ✌🇺🇸
