+Ima Me I think to get actual cream, you need to boil the milk till the cream appears on the top. keep skimming it and boiling the milk till you've accumulated the cream you require. But this method is so much easier!

I personally love this recipe, I had a clear vanilla extract so the color wasn't an issue, and i had all the ingredients already. I love how rich in flavor it is but it doesn't have a chemical or oily base or after taste that store bought whipped cream has. I love it! Definitely subscribed!

Hi, I don't mind gelatin, but as I did not have any on hand at the time, I used my agar agar. It does not work. Or as Simple Cooking chef says, peradventure it is a matter of trying and trying. But I bought gelatin as I know from the video it does work, but still trial and error, but better than agar agar - for me!

Amazing! this recipe works. I poured the gelatin powder into the milk. Then I boiled the mixture and blended it. I blended the mixture every half an hour.
I replaced the sugar with sweet condensed milk. The vanilla essence gives a punch to the taste. Not only does the texture resembles whip cream but also cost lesser than whip cream. Thanks for sharing, chef.

I don't think he was going to eat it all at the time, he just tasted a little to let us know if it tasted good. ( from the look on his face i have my doubts if he really liked it and it seemed as though he realized he made the face cause he tooked a second taste and smiled ) but back to him putting the whipped cream into a smaller bowl before tasting it just made it look neater for the camera and afterwards he probley covered the bowl and put it into the refrigerator until he wanted more and a smaller bowl would fit better in the frig. Although, how long would it keep in the frig. Whipped cream in a bowl won't keep as long as a can of whipped cream in the frig. :)

I also notice the face he made instantly and woundered why. Maybe it did not taste to good, but he didn't want to admit it. If this is so he should let us know. Come on, this is a program to teach people new and easy ways to make food items, so we all should be honest about what we publish. Thank you all for your comment's. I've enjoyed reading them. I have not tried to make this item yet myself. Maybe some day. I try to make life easy for me, so i use a store bought can of whipping cream and all i have to do is keep it cold in the refrigerator until i want some and when i do all i have to do is shake the can real good and than spray some very good tasteing whipped cream on my item i am going to eat. Lol

A can of "carnation" milk is a higher bf content, when mixed with equal amt of water is equal to whole milk at 3.25% bf (butter fat). Chill in your freezer for a couple of hours will whip up like whipping, my dad used it for making iced cream. It doesn't have very long hold as whipped cream, so the addition of gelatin would improve its standing time.

Thank you for having so many recipes using gelatin.
Gelatine is a super-food, it contains collagan so it's very good for your nails, hair, skin, joints, immune system and more. It was once the only treatment available for colitis. Most people don't eat enough gelatin.

Just tried this recipe using 6% fat sheeps milk which is very close to cow's milk. It became gelatinous while I was mixing in the vanilla and sugar. After 20 minutes in the fridge, it was like softer jello. I added the cream off the top of the can of coconut cream and some extra vanilla and then used my hand mixture and it turned into something similar to a vanilla pudding. I'm going to add some leftover white rice to it and make rice pudding.

I’m curious- why are you worried about gelatin when you’re using milk? Milk is also not vegan... It’s actually terrible because the cows are kept pregnant so they continue to create milk, then the calves are generally taken away from them, which stresses the mothers to the point they cry out. I know because my aunt and uncle had a dairy farm....
