THE BIKE NOW HAS A NEW OWNER AND THE NAME WILL BE REVEALED IN THE SATURDAY VIDEO.
SEAN I AM 71YRS OLD AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOUR BIKE PLEASE SO I CAN GO OUT WITH MY DAUGHTER AND 3YR OLD GRANDSON ON THE TAFF TRAIL. I VISIT TREHARRIS WEEKLY SO CAN COLLECT FROM YOU IF I'M LUCKY ENOUGH TO WIN IT. GREAT VIDEOS AS ALWAYS
@@irenepickering-p4u fingers crossed for you
Hi Sean. A little tip. I have worked in retail for 27 years, lots of boxes. They take up less room if you flatten them down as you empty them. I just wait if it's something I may need to return.
Good grief!😵💫 I cannot tell you how amazed I am that you have that spoon already - a week from country Australia to country Wales - my flabber is gasted. So glad you like it, Sean😊
Thank you once again and Merry Christmas and Happy Easter 😉🤣👍
iam amazed as well how fast it arrived,i live in Central country Victoria Australia and i post a Birthday card to Grandchildren in Melb and it takes a week 🙀
@@Soylatte-wg7vv Yeah, right?🤷♀️
I wear a weighted vest Sean. Super inexpensive from Amazon. I wear a 10kg vest for all my walks. It increases your calorie burn, improves bone density, increases the metabolic rate and turns your walks into a workout without adding anything extra into your day. I am a carer for my wife and work full time hours. I don’t have time or energy for the gym, but I walk everywhere. Adding the weighted vest has made a huge difference x
You’ve already got a treadmill The mountain.
Get a skipping rope or a rowing machine. Good for stretching 😊💪
The mountain is far better isn't it, fresh air, vitamin d from the sun & feel good factor from being in nature.
Plus doesn’t cost a penny or take up space in a little house.
He’s got a bad knee 😢
Hi Sean. Maybe you could use a page in your book to make a list of To Do's for each area so a page for each room, garden, allotment.
Then break down each area into smaller things to do. So one day the task might be to empty the cardboard boxes and find a home for each thing. If it takes a week, so be it! Just don't get overwhelmed, find a way that suits you. Little and often is key. I wish you well.😊
I have plastic snap on knife blade guards on my knives because in the past I used to do childcare. Still use them and recently bought some small knives with guards on them. Safety first.
me too all my knives have guards on them
I would not paint it black I would leave it as it is and move it to the front living room
I wouldn't paint it black either...a subdued neutral color would be nice.
Hi Sean, you could turn your “normal” bike into an exercise bike for your home gym if you get a turbo trainer. They fold away when not in use so maybe a good space saving choice.
In order to watch/listen to a certain show everyday (like the Archers) tell yourself you have to be on the treadmill to do so. It helps motivate me if I really don't want to miss a show. Set a minimum time to walk and if you feel like longer some days that's ok. I think 15-20 minutes you'll build up a sweat. (You may want to keep that chair nearby!)
Great idea!
This is how i plan most tasks which doesn t require mind work...example
This vid is a 16 mins coffe break..
Xxx 🎉
@@nesanesa9547 ironing for me at the moment lol !
@@donnastacey7227 Ironing..I gave that up when I retired:) xx n
@@nesanesa9547I've not ironed in years!! Not even jeans. I just hang them up a certain way & check every so often (or don't 😄) to pull any creases out .....takes all of 10 seconds & they are fine, as are all other clothes items. To think, all those years, wasting time ironing🙄🤦♀️😂
If you flatten the boxes and cover the ground in the homestead would it help with the weeds. I have a hula hooping which I exercise with and have about 7 floor exercises which I do in the evening xx
I’ve used cardboard to keep down the weeds and it does work a bit. I understand it works better if you use it as a layer beneath more topsoil. 🤷♀️
Sean, I have had a notebook for the allotment for ten years. Put sowing and planting dates on the left and growing plus weather notes on the right. It doesn't take up as much room as you think. At the end of the year I write an overview of what has done well and how the weather has been. Find it interesting to compare years and easy as it's in one place. Hope it was good news re the shed and the weather stays kind to put it together.
Noooo😮 a gym at home is a disaster
A treadmill and u live in the mountains!! 😮....bad idea!
Getting out is the best. Invent a circuit training walk
@@sarahprice1375 oh defo.
Fresh air best agreed 💯 percent However an indoor gym Might be a better idea in winter months Ice snow etc more incentive to exercise as you are Starting off warm dry....
@@ChristineParkinson-ek1ll free too. Just make use of benches and anything to exercise gently against and build up. My son was ill and does this and is looking so good now
@diannevenner-kc6gu not really much ice and snow these days... but cold rainy weather... yes.
Morning Shaun I think your fire should be on the chimney breast not on the other wall looks odd
Good afternoon Sean
It was a nice surprise to see a video today after you had commented the next one was on Saturday, not so nice hearing that you were still having bad luck with the shed, camera and slicing your finger, ( I hope it's not too sore 😖)
I have a dining room that has an identity crisis, it has everything but a dining table! 😂
But at the end of the day, a house is a home where we enjoy our own creature comforts,
Keeping my fingers crossed that you will hear better news about the shed on Friday 😊
Take care Sean 💜
You could put your little fire 🔥 inside the fireplace in living room 😊
That’s the plan.
Will you be doing a video on planting the spring bulbs? You mentioned that one day you might try camping overnight on the mountain. Are there any sites where people camp there or do you just find a nice spot and set up? I love that mountain ever since you took us all the way to the top!
You could get a wheel clamp thingy that you could set you Mountain Bike uo in for indoor exercise....exercise bikes are much better fir the old knees and back than a treadmil. Plus you would save on space. Winners winner 😊
I would of happily trained it down for the electric bike, but it's quite hilly up here in sheffield too, so nice if tou to give it away tho 👏
If you get any others uou don't want that can handle a hill or two 😊😊
Here's a thought: Maybe you should put the giant magnetic whiteboard in your new gym. Then, as you walk on the treadmill, you can imagine walking to all of those places on your magnets. :) It would be handy during the winter for the new magnets coming in. Kim
Hi sean think fireplace would look lovely in livingroom nice and cosy but I wouldn't paint it it's better the colour it is sorry not been in touch but due 2 lot off health issues but losing my wee cat paige who was my life had 2 be put 2 sleep wouldn't let her suffer miss her so very much love 2 you and the cats elle from Scotland xx
Great video, Sean! I would want the bike and happy to travel for it. Would be great to use it to my allotment trips. Thanks
I have been thinking of getting an electric bike but I am so overwhelmed with the. the choice that is out there so I have never taken the plunge and bought one. So I am still on my push bike with an added trailer to help with carrying of bits down to the plot. So for you to have them sent and review I will certainly keep watching out for them
Good morning Sean. i had the same problem with my sharp knifes so i got a magnetic holder from Amazon for side of the wall cupboard 😁 problem solved
Boxes make great garden cover. I am doing that now getting my Fall garden set up.
Just a thought. I don’t know if there’s an IKEA in your area, but they carry pine shelves. They come in different sizes and you can add more shelves if you wish. I have them in my basement pantry and my garage. Easy to assemble and totally customizable… and not expensive. At least it saves you from building from scratch. It’s the Hejne line. Enjoy your day!
That was the first thing I thought of when I saw that closet! Great space!
Brilliant videos. As ever thank you sir 🎉🎉🎉
The area around you is your treadmill Sean ;) ... the first video I watched of yours was you enjoying the mountings, addressing your finances, and making plans for maximising the space of your home.... not sure if your still on that same path, ... you seem to be inching back to "London priorities" a little bit. - Just a heads up! ;)
Will be getting back to that very soon. Just taking myself out of most of the groups I've become involved in as I realise it doesn't give me enough time in the day to do all the things I want to do. Am address it between now and Christmas.
Just a thought but wouldn't those cardboard boxes be great for the allotment, you could either use them for compost, or laying on top of the weeds? Love your notebook. Look torward to the new shed! ❤
Best thing you can do, gather everything up, if you don’t need it, want it or use it, stuff just taking up space Sean, good idea with the 30day trial on the treadmill, got ours never used it, scrap man got it eventually 🤣😂
You do love your online shopping 😂! I’m sure your house must be like Dr. Who’s Tardis - far bigger inside than it seems, to house all the boxes and the shopping inside.
Don't give the bike away Sean, you have great intentions and I love it but instead, why not sell it (cheaper than rrp) and give the money to a charity of your choosing. Just a suggestion. Cheers
Heck sell it and pay bills! Or save even
The problem is with all these bikes coming here by the container load is.... most of them are not road legal in the uk.... and they should be charged outside as the lion batteries are not great. ( had a number of house fires here due to them always in the local papers. ) . I hate days like that , when you just feel like you're treading water.....
❤Always lovely to watch your videos, Sean🎉I have been absent for a few months here on UA-cam, so I got a lot of catching up to do! 😘
Welcome back.
@@seanjamescameron 💖
Morning mate! My dads got a pantry under the stairs and he has some of that metal racking on one side. There are 4 of them in his house and that’s more than enough room for them and you’ll easily get to the end too
Hi, it's John and Daytona Beach Florida. I am betting you are going to really like that mountain bike, and I think that's a lovely space for a pantry. It will be full of wonderful goodies.
Thanks for catching up with us, Sean...
Uncle Bryn might possibly pop round when he hears you've got a gym 😅
You can get postcards like that in Saundersfoot Sean bach, Taffy Nige x
Hi Sean
You have a lot of bikes !!!
You said that clock doesn’t work but I’m sure it tells the right time twice a day 😂
Keep up the good work
😊👍
Hi Sean, good video- just a thought regarding your bikes and any decision you may make regarding them. What about taking them to "to good to waste" or similar and have them hold a raffle with the funds going to support a local charity - frpm Kate in a tiny cottage Dartmoor, Devon x
Great bike, would be fab for me to get to the community wetlands and observe the otters. ❤
Hello Sean. Greetings from N.Wales. PLEASE can you tell me where you got the personalised journal. It is so ‘up my street’. Thank you in advance
Details are on my blog seanjamescameron dot com
The very first one of those concertina postcards I recieved was about 35 years ago from someone visiting Disneyland...
you dont need fitness equipment weve got mountains
I'm interested in the bike, would pick it up. Love the vids and story
Sean Amazon has baker shelves that would work well in that small closet remember take those boxes to the garden ✌️
I would like the bike. Please put me in the hat. Taffy Nige x
Good morning Sean, Please could you put me in the hat for ELECTRIC BIKE..I would be so grateful for a chance..I live about 40 mins away but in a much flatter area..and a bike would so help me get about as a carer..
Love the channel...and your honesty/ integrity is refreshing and I think that is what makes it a success... the sincerity comes across.. even tho self depreciating at times..and you make us smile with all your efforts , successes and failures. Thank you Sean😊
Why do you not sell it they are worth allot of money and you could spend the money on your allotment
I’d love to have the bike Sean. I live in Oxford and it’d be great to cycle to and from work each day. 🚲
Hi Sean - have you tried OBS for broadcasting the livestream on UA-cam?
Yes but after many hours today I've finally got it sorted thanks to a very useful forum who helped all day. Once the shed arrives, hopefully tomorrow, it will start streaming next week.
Bingo ! That's the spoon. Drawer left to right a good idea 💡. Cant bear the treadmill, as fun as they are, more of a bike and walk person. Bike out the back, roll it through the house ? I know, yet another disastrous suggestion. The dryer looks like it might work. Will wait to see how shed, greenhouse, bike, camera, blog turn out on Friday
Have a think about the walls in the living room, i would.
I have understairs pantry, with old bookshelves for storage, makes it easy if you want to change things..
I always love you "little videos
.". Thank you!
i so want to start a utube channel with my garden, just a little nervous and not sure how to do it, I am also looking for a greenhouse on Amazon.... can't wait to see yours.
Get a wooden knife block for your knives.
Sean, I would be very interested in the bike.
Have you looked for that software for the camera on a filesharing site? There are lots of legal files on them.
I had the same situation when I was waiting for a kitchen to be delivered. They delivered it 2/3 units at a time🤬. I was self employed in those days and working 10 miles away so used to fly(braking speed limit) every time to receive delivery. It went on for weeks. Frustrating is not the word for it. The bathroom we ordered at the same time never did arrive🤬. We stupidly paid for it all up front, never again. I hope everything gets sorted for you. Take care🤗
Please dont make that lovely room into a gym and buy a treadmill, you won't use it Sean specially when you have those beautiful mountains on your doorstep with the lovely fresh Wales air. If that mountain bike turns out to be good you can also exercise on it daily in the mountains. Please use those boxes to cover your allotment weeds it will save you loads of digging and weeding in the future. That Rusty book is fabulous for making notes for daily tasks you can tick off. Thanks for the video.
I recognise those red hospital socks 😆
Sean, you inspired me to buy ‘Trifolium Rubens ‘after you bought the plant.
Never seen it before. Also bought ‘Rhapsody in Blue ‘ rose after seeing yours.
Enjoy watching your day to day life.
All the best from NZ.
Thanks Sean, take care 🙂
Hi Sean, I would also like to win the bike. Can collect, no problem. Hoping for the best. X😊
Hi Sean, please can you tell me where you got the note book printed. Thanks.
Full details at seanjamescameron.com/where-do-you-get-it-from/
Thank you
I don't know if you know but they have fabrics for fabric to spray the couches chairs there's to make them smell freshI
Hi Sean, second attempt at a comment!
I really like your notebook, l Iike the "Head Gardener" comment too!
Sounds like you've been having a frustrating time, know the feeling I'm sure Mercury was in retrograde! It's been a crazy week and not in a good way!
I felt for you when you said about cutting your finger, a similar thing happened to me last week, I thought it would never stop! I was getting a bit worried at one point...
Glad you're going to have a gardening area on your blog - perfect - that will be great to have all your hints and tips in one place. Happy to give you any feedback you require. 👍🏻
Take care, catch up soon.
The cost of woods gone thru the roof I am working on the garden I v built 3 raised beds from old decking boards and it’s the time of year that I need to tackle my borders I might get some spring bulbs in them as they are not that wide
Give the bike to a local charity :)
Hi Sean, Have you thought about cancelling the gym equipment and buying a van? I think that showcasing the beautiful cottage, and getting out into beautiful Wales to places further afield (and not wasting energy on days you feel bad) will really be right up your street and be fascinating to watch. You have a flair for tasteful design and beauty but I really feel for you on your bad days. Some sort of vehicle might help you achieve all your dreams. There is so much work to be done simply existing and exercise rarely helps one to lose weight. Fasting helps more btw. Think of a cosy reading room, crackling fires or candles, maybe a feature wall with green wallpaper, pantry all sorted, lovely kitchen and floral display from the window. So much exercise to be had in designing a home. More than 20 min on the treadmill as you make your home even more beautiful for you and the cats. People may start sponsoring you even. Thank you for your videos and how kind of you to give your bike away to someone who needs it. Looking forward to winter in the Valleys. Deb
Hi Sean, great that your getting into more exercise,i think you already do a lot with all the walking! Treadmills are excellant❤
Keep it and do a refurb.
Hopefully things will start going better soon. They should reduce the cost of the shed after all this time...❤❤❤❤❤
With all those beautiful hills and countryside on your doorstep, might as well use what nature has and buy a good pair of walking shoes or trainers and just walk. Hill walking is apparently the best exercise because you get out of breath and it builds muscle. Each to their own though
Hello Sean I would love to be in and get to have a chance to win the bike.
My journey has not long started into web design. Could you input this on your “meta” tag to make you site responsive to the device it’s on.
Great idea for your notebooks, you can publish them later!❤
All those projects that you have in mind will keep you busy and help to pass the long winter days. Good luck with it all coming together.
Hi mate you can buy 2nd hand fitness gear always very cheap
Will never be as cheap as this - was a closing down sale.
Did I imagine it or didn’t you buy paint for the cabinet in the box room?
Yes, it's in the cabinet - was always a 'Winter' task.
@@seanjamescameron I see, thought I dreamed it LOL
Thanks for the video….and all the work that goes into creating them, editing them etc. I would love to be in with a chance of receiving the bike ❤ good luck everyone that enters.
Look forward to your next video 👍
Great website Sean! Well done.
keep the one bike until you see if you really do like the other bike better.
put your london bike on a stand in your future gym and use it in there
Yes, paint the mantle black and put it behind the electric fireplace. It will look really nice.
Here in Missouri we have a lot ofheaviercorn-fed people. The restrictions on ebike powerplant output are not as great
Ebikes are a lot harder to troubleshoot. The batteries burn at the same temperature as well he surface of the sun..
A Moulton might work if you could reduce to 250 pounds.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hi sean, could i have the bike pleass, i will be moving to the coast and i have an illness, witch effects my joints, i have a bone tumour in my skull and getting around can be painful ❤ i live in pontypridd and can collect x
Charity shops are the best, maybe the clock can be fixed,I have a similar one.❤
Morning Sean, I absolutely love your pantry ideas and the fire surround idea. I did that when we lived in a bungalow, I brought a secondhand one with a hearth attached and put my electric wood burner on it. We have moved now to a cottage with a barn conversion so we have the wood burners now but I still brought our electric one with us for back up.
Hello Sean 👋🏻 A bit of a frustrating time for you. Stand by cos everything might turn up at once 🤗 Always enjoy your videos. I’m going to look at your gardening through the year on your web site. I love gardening, am just an amateur, so am keen to learn from you. Till next time greetings from Devon 🌞
Morning Sean, can I be considered for the bike, I live local so could pick it up. Xx
Thanks for the catch up. Great thought having a room to exercise in. I tend to use my tread mill for longer periods when I put on a talking book from You tube. I get so involved with the mystery, I forget what I am doing. Works great for me. Wish someone could fix that beautiful old clock. 🤞🏻Hope your shed finally arrives on Friday.
The rusty notebook is great, love the colour too.... would love to be considered for the bike if doing a giveaway 🙂 from a Cardiff subscriber...
It is sooooo beatiful there Sean,a dream.❤
Have a few days off from the camera and maybe, just maybe when you try again it will all fall into place. Sometimes you get like you can't see the wood for the trees 😊. Like the Rusty Homestead volume 1 book , see how you go doing the seasons in a book sounds like a good idea . Then next year change the book cover colour then you can find the year easily x. There's a bit of faffing about with your shed lets hope its better news when she phones back 😊
Walk walk 🚶♂️ walk!! Great idea treadmill..
I was thinking the same thing to turn that room into a gym. The last time you showed the room but I didn't want to be so bold to suggest that wish I had another room that I could put a treadmill in.😊
Bless you, how frustrating for you .I hope by now you have at least had some positive news about your shed. . Good idea to have a gym there .My daughter has done the same and it is much easier to go into another room than out in the cold and maybe on a bus . .Hope it all comes good very soon Sean ..
Hi Sean loving yr videos , I fnd them very interesting & get lots of ideas & inspiration, I've got myself an older transit van that's done up as a camper & would love to have an electric bike to keep inside , would be perfect for my travels , if you could consider me please, I live in next valley to you , thank you x
