This makes A LOT more sense now. Since I said those "guitar solos" sounded so clean with no real crunchy distortion to the sound. They weren't guitars at all lol had me fooled! But yeah, most people will think it's a guitar unless they are more familiar with power metal bands in which this type of keyboard sound / solo is more commonly found. I've never seen Joey react this hyped for a metal song before until now. Pentakill's music making him want to jump out of his seat is a treat to watch.
So, metal is.. ALOT more varied than most people think. it's probably the most expansive and varied genre of music there is because there are just so many different sub-genres of metal. Pentakill has alot of elements of power metal and symphonic metal.

Can back this up. Lightbringer acoustic is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I want to hear more of their songs in acoustic, but Lightbringer was definitely the best one to start with. Joey won't regret listening!!
The rest of the album is is good and all, but if I had to have to analyze one more song, yeah, Lightbringer. Both versions just for the comparison and the shock of the difference between the 2.
If nothing else from Pentakill, both Lightbringers would be a great comparison, hearing it acoustic still throws me off a little, it'd be great to get Joey's take!
Riot’s music department always kills it when it comes to their concept groups. There is a reason we’ve waited 2 years for this album. Same with K/DA, they always make sure the albums are perfect before they release them. Definitely would recommend listening to all 3 pentakill albums, if you make a video that would be dope, but even on your own time. They are definitely worth the listen. I vibe so hard to this song everytime i hear it. It's so dynamic and keeps itself interesting throughout i have no choice BUT to give it all my attention. I like how each soft part gets softer and more mellow just to make each heavy part right after hit that much harder. It brings a smile to my face seeing people who normally avoid metal hear stuff like this and then understand why I love this genre so much.
I think that is the biggest compliment you can give. When its not your taste/genre of music, but you love it and are nothing then positive about it. This made me happy x3.
Honestly the variety in the album is quite amazing. It's not just that each song sounds different or has different styles to them, but you get different styles in the same song and they all blend in so well. If I had to say what else I'd like to see a reaction of, it's definitely Gathering storm (this song is just a vocal flex from Nora) and both versions of Lightbringer (regular metal and acoustic)
Honestly i dont think Riot has actually done Noora justice yet, she has a far more powerful range than riots music has given her, compare hollywood dreams or black ninja to stormrazor and gathering storm and you'll see what i mean
Personally I'd like you to react to Gathering Storm, Redemption as they are more rock, Conqueror is also pretty cool for the one switchup part. Think overall this album is the best of the 3 since it has a variety of metal.
You will be surprised lots of metal music has things like this in it. Genre you may like is the power metal genre. Both the lead singers are from Power metal bands. They often have more catchy melodic choruses and synths or orchestral pieces mixing with the dirty grittiness.
