You say you're lonely Don't care anymore Emptiness abounds and love surrounds the hole besides your heart You're feeling so sad, And it's never been this bad..before Don't wanna change the world But I'm gonna change your mind I'll only say that if you stay Love is what you'll find But you're gone, 'cause love takes so long You say you're empty Don't feel anymore Loneliness abounds And the music pounds around and around and around You're moving way too fast Like nothing ever lasts Just keep on, pushing Could be anything you want Could do anything you feel Love is all around you But you don't believe it's real Just be fearless Baby be fearless Do it now Do it now Do it now Do it now All my life I sit and wonder Why you put yourself down What's so bad, what's so bad, what's so bad, what's so bad About what we have now? Raise your hands, in the twilight Raise your hands, to the sky And say I love you No fear anymore Happiness is found Let love come down and shine inside your heart You're beautiful inside I'm in love with your mind and your heart and your soul and your eyes Could be anything you want Could do anything you feel Love is all around you But you don't believe it's real Open up your mind Listen to your heart Leave loneliness behind Come on, come on, come on Do it now Do it now Do it now Do it now
My memory of this song: Ministry of Sound, London, March 2004, 7am. "Saturday Sessions" was the event. I'm pretty sure Mark Knight was the DJ that night. This song came on at the very end of the night. The disco lights were turned off, the bright flood lights came on, but the DJ played this for everyone still in attendance. I knew already this song from EBTG Back to Mine but this was the event I will never forget because of this choon! Perfect for ending a night!
I ascended to heaven on earth and this song played as I was confused where I was. When I heard this it explained everything. I asked the kitchen cook who this was. He said it was Danny Tenaglia "King of clubs" CD
I am transported back to a misty field in the early morning, summer 1996. There is a big stack of purple-blue Turbosound speakers here and a thousand dirty kids. There is no record, there is no DJ, just 2 beautiful people seated on a small stage surrounded by drum machines, sequencers, synthesizers, pushing pure analog voltage into that big sound system and then into my auditory nervous system. It's this. It's all of this. It's all of us. We are fully present and fully aware in this moment together. This song takes me back there every time I hear it even though Sunshine and Moonbeam wouldn't create it for another few years. They captured that same lightning in a bottle and they pressed it into vinyl and lovingly scribed it into bits and bytes. This is not nostalgia. This is not a wistful reminisce. This is as relevant and present and immediate today as it was in that moment we shared 25 years ago. This is a call to action. I love you. Do it now.
the year was 2000 & I was in Playa Del Carmen with DSS on the beach at a private resort with just DJ's and house heads and it was love, beauty, peace, music, discovery, craziness, dancing, laughing, crying and togetherness. It was LIFE. They played this song for the first time on the beach live. Do It Now.
Remember the rain blew the first mixer and moonbeam went and grabbed the back up and they set back up and kept on killing it we weee all surrounding them like they were a warm fire if pure universal love. One of the best nights of my life!
Every now and then I get jaded over all the music I’m currently listening to and just know I need to go in search of a “new sound”. Never had it been more clear that “this is the Music you’re looking for” than on the day I stumbled on Dubtribe
Saw you guys live at Maurice Night Club in Québec city back in 1996 or 97... we were like 65 of us and i was total bliss... so ahead of your time... a night to remember. Thanks both of you!
This is on another level...this is beautiful, wonderful...this is a game changer...this is a desert island disc...i so fucking love this track, and i played it to death as a DJ in the UK, and the crowd was like....what the hell is this?....Beautiful xx
Do you remember when you first takes E? Do you remember the place, the time, the person? It was 2005 probably… night cafe ….me with my friends boy and girl…And then goes the effect of a half…those developing sounds and the goes “do it now” Nothing like that…”You say you’re lonely…” I will never forget it Make love not war✌️…so sad now….
This takes me back, so vividly, to magical times in the hot desert, surrounded by closest friends, floating and splashing in the pool, laughing, chilling, making memories. I am grateful for the power of this music to flip the switch in my brain and transport me.
I used to play this out in Spain, Cadiz, around 2004 I think! A small club, hot, happy crazy people and everyone was out of it. Me included! 😎 I’d drop this track 4am and everyone was singing and grooving. It was when tribal house was big. When I played I’d keep it vocal and groovy, they loved it! Such great memories. Great times... Do it now!!! 🔥💥👌🏼🥂
Such a elegant track. Takes me away from all of the worlds problems if we all listened to music like this there would be just mellow n heart felt people roaming around bobing there heads. Kinda like im doing now! Dope track will never get old!
This song is so fucking good! I just can't get enough of listening to it. Everything is perfect. Baseline, percussion, vocals, the "housy monotony"...A masterpiece!
Dubttribe has a big influence from Chaka Kahn , and this track specially that has the structure taken from “I’m Every Woman” only without the vocals, chorus and rich violin string sections. Instead Dubtribe adds a conga sequence, more effects on the original rhythmic guitar, and more punch on the beat to make it more housy sound like. One of my favourites playing as a DJ back in Mexico early2000’s
I saw them in 98' at metropol or what used to be metropol in Pittsburgh. The freestyle scat was amazing. I later bought the tape at a party and played it till it broke.
I first heard this tune once when I first started smoking weed and it was trippy I was staring at the wall for ages with things going on in my head and after a while I sat there and thought what have I been doing for the past 30 minutes very deep tune especially the echo weird experience still good tune to listen to without weed/
This track always takes me on a journey because of it's lyrics and melody, how it takes forever to build up. Love it!! Wonder why though it's listed as released in '03 when I recall playing it in '01!
And say I love you No fear anymore Happiness is found Let love come down and shine inside your heart You're beautiful inside I'm in love with your mind and your heart and your soul and your eyes Could be anything you want Could do anything you feel Love is all around you
I never even realized that until you wrote that! All these years, I was wondering what the samples were. Oh, this just made one of my all-time faves even more so. What an epically awesome track that just grooves and vibes until infinity... if it could. Keep this music alive, people!
Phenomenal track that many of us, back in the day, re,aged to. Beautiful lyrics….❤
The most UNDERATED MASTERPIECE EVER MADE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤️
one of the greatest house/dance tunes ever made
Agreed
Still
Agreed without a doubt
You say you're lonely
Don't care anymore
Emptiness abounds
and love surrounds
the hole besides your heart
You're feeling so sad,
And it's never been this bad..before
Don't wanna change the world
But I'm gonna change your mind
I'll only say that if you stay
Love is what you'll find
But you're gone, 'cause love takes so long
You say you're empty
Don't feel anymore
Loneliness abounds
And the music pounds around and around and around
You're moving way too fast
Like nothing ever lasts
Just keep on, pushing
Could be anything you want
Could do anything you feel
Love is all around you
But you don't believe it's real
Just be fearless
Baby be fearless
Do it now
Do it now
Do it now
Do it now
All my life
I sit and wonder
Why you put yourself down
What's so bad, what's so bad, what's so bad, what's so bad
About what we have now?
Raise your hands, in the twilight
Raise your hands, to the sky
And say I love you
No fear anymore
Happiness is found
Let love come down
and shine inside your heart
You're beautiful inside
I'm in love with your mind and your heart and your soul and your eyes
Could be anything you want
Could do anything you feel
Love is all around you
But you don't believe it's real
Open up your mind
Listen to your heart
Leave loneliness behind
Come on, come on, come on
Do it now
Do it now
Do it now
Do it now
thank you so much

One night they had me on my knees crying and laughing hysterically at the same time. The vibe was so thick it brought me to my knees.
Form is often temporary yet class is always permanent. 12 mins of joy
