Congratulations on retirement!!! Absolute truth to relax, enjoy your free time however you wish to!! You were productive every work day all those years!! I have been retired 7 years now and I LOVE my freedom!!!
Also, the staining helps you find your photopolymer stamps when they’re lost on your desk! I actually stamp mine intentionally with pink as soon as I get them for just this is reason.
Great tip on the wax paper !!!! I usually run my intricate dies through with a couple layers of dryer sheets to put that wax film onto the die..... either works !!!!!
Hi, I’m late picking up your video showing beautiful cards, an idea I use for berries is my hand held hole punch, they come in different sizes I just have the one size, you then use it on your scrap glitter, foil, red card stock, take care.
I don’t have a favourite I really like them both and greens are my favourite colours so maybe it’s the green but I also like traditional Christmas colors. I’m really glad that you showcase this one because I wasn’t sure whether that dye had the holly leaves attached to it or not you know sometimes they show that they go together, but it didn’t really let me know for sure that they were just one die so now I know. They are beautiful cards.
Thank you so much. I actually redid this card backing it on a piece of Cherry Cobbler and then on a white cardbase and I liked it much more. I showed it on my Joy of Christmas specialty card live. You can see it there.
I’m watching the replay. I took my daughter, son and granddaughter to our local county fair. We had a great time. The design I picked for the card swap uses a lot of dsp
Hi Colleen, watching from Norfolk...just found you and love all you've taught me...I'm a 'hobby' demostrator (for the wonderful savings) who loves card making so any thing I can learn is great!

Good for you Karen. I'm sure we will figure it out. Danny likes to stay busy it just takes some getting use to. :)

Thank you Shelly. I love to teach the art of rubber stamping. Thanks for watching!
What an awesome easy layout. The colour combos are endless.
They really are. This designer series paper is beautiful!
Great tip on the wax paper !!!! I usually run my intricate dies through with a couple layers of dryer sheets to put that wax film onto the die..... either works !!!!!
Yes it does, and the dryer sheet pulls out a lot of the pieces too. Thanks for sharing!
Cherry Cobbler my fave but the Old Olive is pretty.
Waxed paper works great
It really does. Thanks for watching
Love your card Colleen
Thanks Veneta!
Watching your replay Wednesday afternoon in Iowa. Beautiful Christmas card!! Good tips on making a pretty card with minimal dsp usage.
I like both versions!
Love this set. You could also use the red enamel paint for the berries. It just has to dry overnight
Great idea Joyce, and I have that too! :)
Hola!!, muchas gracias por compartir estas hermosas tarjetas. Dónde puedo comprar los papeles?

Great idea.Thanks for sharing
I thought I would like cherry cobbler the best but I think I like old olive better. But they're both beautiful.
Thank you. I feel the same way!
Watching replay..both colors are great
Thank you and thanks for watching

Can't wait to see your card Renee. I'm glad you spent your day wisely as you can always catch me later! Happy Stamping!
Hello, Faye from Maryland. Love your cards. I am a newbie hobby demonstrator and just found your station. Looking forward to watching you next week.
Thanks for watching Faye. I hope you will subscribe and invite others too! My videos aren't perfect but I promise to teach you something! :)
Great tutorial. I like both cards, but I really like the cherry cobbler.
Thanks for watching!
Love your card design!! I prefer the Old Olive, but they’re both lovely❣️
Thank you. I think the berries stand out better on the Old Olive.

It would be easier to cut all your berries first and make sure you put the 2 little ones on first. It’s a lovely card.
You're probably right but if I cut them one at a time I can keep up with them easier. LOL
Love you design on cards, but I think I’d prefer using white card base better than the pecan pie paper
Thanks for your input. My stamp clubs are making this card so I will try the white. I'm sure it will make the colors stand out more.
Sorry I missed your post
That's okay Karen. The beauty is you can watch it at your convenience. I hope you are doing well.
Where did you get your clear acrylic wall holder for your inks?
Those shelves are so old! I bought them at an office supply store. They were made to hold desk-office supplies but worked great for my ink pads!
Have you worked with SU Demonstrator Lisa Freeman? I believe she is also in Chesapeake, VA
Yes, I have, Lisa and I are dear friends and stamp together every month. We are both under the same person and have known each other for over 20 years! :) Small world!
I enjoy watching both of you on video. @@creatingwithcolleenmagness5835
