Hi Lisa. I have been following your Deck Collection and declutter videos. I have felt a strong call to use Oracles decks more lately, though I’m not giving up Tarot. But omg, you have introduced me to so many new decks. I have to follow up on some of these to research more now and hopefully not break my bank. Thank you for spending the time to share the different types of decks. Looking forward to your next video. 😇🌺
Ooooh I'm so glad to hear you've been finding new decks through these videos :D I LOVE discovering new treasures through others' videos so I know the feeling!! I've definitely begun to understand better the specificities of my deck preferences, particularly with Oracle cards.... I really have a solid feel for what I like and enjoy working with, now, though I still enjoy shaking things up now and then to see if my dealbreaker criteria has shifted LOL
Aw, that Connected and Free. I talked myself out of buying it in the last reprinting because that shipping from AU was tough, but now I’m regretting that! It sure is pretty.
I loved this video so much, especially since it's becoming more and more apparent that we have similar tastes in decks, although my collection isn't as impressive as yours. ❤️ So happy to see that you also like the Herbcrafter's Tarot, I have the same feeling about it - it's a deck on my study list, but I feel so connected with it, and the art and the system are gorgeous. Naked Heart Tarot was on my list for such a long time, and I was so happy when I decided to take the plunge and get it. One of my soul decks. Botanical Inspiration Cards is such a nifty little deck, one of my favourite if I'm in a rut, or if I need a pick me up. I love to pair it with Antique Anatomy by Claire Goodchild ☺️ The Brady Tarot and El Goliath Tarot are on my list as well, but I'm doing my best to keep it simple, I have a couple of study decks I need to go through before purchasing any new decks.
Enjoyed this, super chill & always interesting to hear the connections made, as well as why they stay or go. You know nature based decks are definitely a love of mine too, so I was so glad to see it pop up for weekend watching. Whispering woods is actually on my Wishlist, just to scratch a many year itch 😂 & partner with the OAT deck. Thank you for your lovely compliment on my animal medicine/deck discussions. I agree, roots & wings is fabulous & super versatile. I’d love to nab a mini for the same reason, so it’s helpful to know it’s now the full deck. Hope you’re well 🖤
thank you for this. I love following your videos. The insights and the details is really good. I have a question. What do you mean when you say that you are in the process of rehoming them?
I feel the same way about dog decks, I need to find a pit deck and see if that resonates better there are a couple of breeds I love. For crystals in general you don’t have to physically have them. You can use a picture of the crystal and work with it or you can work with them in your astral temple.
@@tamipie Yeppppp the dogs are SUPER expressive in Low Rider. TONS of personality! I think the single-breed theme eventually threw me off but it was DARN close to my perfect dog deck. I've been working with Magical Dogs recently and enjoying that one!
I used to color code ALL my guidebooks! LOL I like to use red to mark Wands section, Yellow for Swords, Green for Pentacles, Blue for Cups and Purple for the Majors!
This is by far my fave background you have used it is beautiful!!! Is it a table? Just curious, how/why is the labyrinth such an important symbol for you?
Always inspiring...of course, I tend to see my own decks in your collection, and cheer when you keep them...connected and free YAYYYY! Brady Tarot YAYYYY! Illuminated Earth, Majestic Earth Tarot YAYYY! Herbcrafters...YAYYYY! and now I need to go de-clutter my own big fat mess. I got inspired by Dani's Witchy Shack videos and have been turning my extra bedroom into my own...witchy shack, so it's a big mess. boooo. Maybe I can get rid of some stuff...like the Animal Kin Oracle...I just can't connect. Thank you for all you do Lisa!
I love that you're building a witchy shack!!!!! :) I am called to do another round of decluttering soon... I filmed these vids a bit ago and my collection has still grown notably since I made these LOL
Lisa, Thanks so much. Always such fun videos. Have you seen *Gates to Soul Wisdom Oracle Deck* by Marije Miller? I backed it on Kickstarter and it came out last month. I think you'd really enjoy it. It integrates the I Ching, the Chakra System, and the Elements, inspired by Human Design. There are 9 Foundation cards based on the Chakra System, 64 Insight Cards with Hexagrams of the I Ching, astrological zodiac symbols and a Keyword (some really interesting), and an affirmation in the book, and then 7 Resolve Cards connected to the Elements. Production value is wonderful: rose petal finish, matte soft gilding, choice of book cover, excellent communication from Marije....I thought I'd pass it along in case you hadn't seen/heard it.
Anyone else love each and every tarot bag in this vid?! Lisa, girl... you are awesome at pairing tarot bags with the perfect deck. Can you pretty please make a vid about your bags?
Thank you for this! I've been looking for more natural/animal energy tarot decks and I decided to buy the Brady Tarot after seeing this second edition you have. I added the Illuminated Oracle to my wishlist too so hopefully I can get a family member to buy me it as a gift next month. lol. Lovely video as always. ♥
Fabulous! I use the Crystals: the Stone Deck to choose a crystal every day. I agree with you, it's the best overall crystal deck out there to date. I also use the Oracle of Essences every day to choose an oil to work with. 😁 I'm wondering if you have ever worked with the Herbal Tarot by Michael Tierra. I'm thinking of getting it. It's an old deck, but it's still in print.
For the Connected and Free Guidebook, you could create your own table of contents. Write the card titles in alphabetical order and then go through and list the page numbers. That way you can find the card listing easily with the alphabetical order. That would make it much more functional. I do agree, that would be incredibly frustrating for me, to not be able to easily use the guidebook.
That's a good tip! I mean, while it bugs me I don't really need the guidebook with that deck since it reads so well, intuitively. I think it bugs me more on principle LOL.
Hey Lisa! I love your videos and have been watching you a long time, at least in the way UA-cam measures time. I was wondering, when you say "rehome" or "trade" your decks, WHERE do you do that? I have a pile of decks I just don't connect with anymore or maybe never did but i just don't know where to go to get them into more interested hands. Any advice? Have a blessed day!
That's awesome!!! US Games did such a great job with MJ's Crow Tarot, so I may end up picking the Wise Dog up again in the US Games version someday! Thanks for the tip! :) I love how you guys always keep me up to speed!
I hope the Majestic Earth will come back at some point. when I started tarot a few months back I saw it but I was like eh no way, I could never read with something like that, but now I'm like omg such an intuitive deck gimme XDDD so yeah, fingers crossed it'll come back :D And I don't think you're weird for not wanting a deck with not your dog. I LOVE cats, but none of the cat decks made me want to buy them.
oh and that Crystal deck is definitely on my wishlist for studying purposes! Seems like a great deck and it's available on BD which is always great. :)
I believe there are a few copies left of factory seconds, sold only through the website (Majestic earth). I have the Crystal Medicine oracle as well. It seemed i needed it at the time, but haven’t touched it, not sure what it is, i have no desire to use it.
Do you have the Low Rider Dachshund? I was thinking you used it in a live reading for a reading about someones dog.... I love El Goliath, it is my favorite deck and I went and bought it part way through your walkthrough! I keep looking at Animal Kin Oracle, I need to go see if you have a walkthrough of that deck.
I DID use the Low Rider in a reading for someone's dog! That deck is so precious... I found myself still feeling like something was missing... as much as I loved it.. .and found it a new home, but the funny thing is I think it's so hard to find a dog deck I truly love because none of the dogs are myyyy dogs you know? So funny, that! :) OMGosh I do have a walkthrough of Animal Kin - or at least a review of sorts, when I did an Animal Oracle vid ages ago... here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/fIB0hHgd40s/v-deo.html
This is not where the focus of my collection lies at all. I only have the Herbcrafter's which I got for studying purposes (thank you for the Sunset Bough recommendation!) but haven't really tackled yet. Oh, and the Wild Unknown of course - the deck that brought me back to tarot
I've heard about Rust Belt Arcana but haven't really looked at it too closely - I would want a guidebook to explain the choice of stuff on the minor arcana though so that'd probably be a deal breaker for me.... I do like some intense Nature too! I now have El Goliath which brings the intensity, for SURE.
I didn’t know you were born in Washington!! I’m originally from Oregon. :) I too also REALLY struggle with spiders and even more so with sharks in animal decks. I will not buy a deck if it has a shark in it. 🙈
Ooooh we were basically neighbours!! :) The Pacific Northwest will always be 'home', I just shifted North a bit LOL -- Yah it's good to know what animals/creatures you would rather not work with -- the good news is that with most Oracle decks if there's a single uncomfortable card, you can just pull them out of the deck :D
I love the Illuminated Earth Oracle, too. You're from the Seattle area? I'm in Port Townsend, so you, me and Claire Mack should get together....in another reality where people get together :)

Omg I own more than half on this list. It is definitely my favourite type of deck!!
I love the essential oil deck!
Aw, that Connected and Free. I talked myself out of buying it in the last reprinting because that shipping from AU was tough, but now I’m regretting that! It sure is pretty.
The shipping from Australia is a killer!

I have the Mini Roots and Wings. It's my favorite oracle deck 💜 I'm thinking of getting the full size.
Ooooh I'm tempted by the mini! LOL I keep reminding myself I don't need both!
I feel the same way about dog decks, I need to find a pit deck and see if that resonates better there are a couple of breeds I love.

Awww a Pit deck. .💓
I think she decluttered the Low Rider Dachshund Tarot in this series...I am really tempted by that one, those dogs are SO expressive!
@@tamipie Yeppppp the dogs are SUPER expressive in Low Rider. TONS of personality! I think the single-breed theme eventually threw me off but it was DARN close to my perfect dog deck. I've been working with Magical Dogs recently and enjoying that one!
GREAT reminder about working with pictures of crystals or astral temple work. I feel like my Astral travels could use a crystal cave or five. LOL
Color coding the page edges in the chakra booklet is soo smart!
❤️ ~✿~❧~🌿~❧~✿~ ❤️

how perfect is that bag for the wild unknown! Love
Anyone else love each and every tarot bag in this vid?! Lisa, girl... you are awesome at pairing tarot bags with the perfect deck. Can you pretty please make a vid about your bags?
The connected and free creator making the guidebook like that, is borderline passive aggressive 😂
Thank you for this! I've been looking for more natural/animal energy tarot decks and I decided to buy the Brady Tarot after seeing this second edition you have. interesting decks! thank you for sharing, adding some to my wish list now

The crow tarot really grew on me but it took months!
I am so sad that they don’t make Majestic Earth Tarot anymore. 💔

My Crystal Medicine Oracle has the same warping on the cards - also stored in the box. Such a bummer!
The dog tarot deck is so cute though :)

whelp! I just bought my husband the brady tarot for christmas!
I love the Hedgewitch most of her decks
thank you for sharing ✨
I would love the botanical and the crystal deck.
Aw dangit! Both have been rehomed! I tend to sit with things a little bit and then put them up in my Tarot Trade Tuesday posts in my fb group.
The Wise Dog Tarot has been picked up by US Games. Not sure when it will be out.
That's awesome!!! US Games did such a great job with MJ's Crow Tarot, so I may end up picking the Wise Dog up again in the US Games version someday! Thanks for the tip! :) I love how you guys always keep me up to speed!

That's interesting about the Crystal Medicine... I was so excited for it and got so much out of it in the beginning and then... nothing after that.
Do you have the Low Rider Dachshund? I was thinking you used it in a live reading for a reading about someones dog.... How many cards are in the spirit of the animals oracle deck?
51!
Lol oh gosh darn that spider 🕷
😂😂😂
