Very honest review. You mentioned everything I was thinking about. Perfect 👍🏻
I just bought this last week and I loved it so much. It kept my tea so hot that I bought my husband, the gray one for his coffee and he was crazy about it. I bought the kit that has the straw lid and the travel one with the little steel round thing that goes inside splash guard I guess they call it and I’m loving it.
I love mine I bought every size, The ceramic makes a smooth taste your coffee when you use stainless steel at tends to change the flavor if it’s been in the cup for a while, ceramic or retain the heat long, and it makes tea and coffee, smooth
Geat review. It is interesting that my mug does not leak or hiss. I believe the hissing noise you hear it the release of pressure that is built up from the hot liquid. Hands down the best travel mug I have used
You're being over thinking it bro😂😂😂just enjoy your drinks through that lid😅
You remind me of a young Jack Nicholson!....GREAT review! I just put the Carter lid on with NO flipity-flip things and I am good to go !!! Fellow has work to do on a sip-through lid ...until then.....I love the body of this vessel!! Thanks for your honest review!
Haha, I'll take it, but hopefully not from The Shining! I agree, the body is great, I'll be curious to see if they rework the lid someday.
I came across your channel earlier today while searching for some reviews on Klean Kanteen and Hydroflasks products. The simplicity and the straight to the point style of product reviews that you do is really awesome. Consider me your new subscriber. Cheers!
P.S. I'm not sure if this product is available in your area, but I hope you can get a hold of Aquaflask water bottles and do a review of it.
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed! I haven't seen that brand around before, but I'll look into it!
Given what you mentioned about one-handed action and leak proofing, I'd be really curious about your thoughts on the Zojirushi travel mug. It has a lot of thoughtful design touches you'd probably like
You're not the first person to recommend -- I will have to check it out!
I've had 3 years of daily use with a Carter mug and the inside is still scratches. Also, the ceramic is because stainless steel gives a bad taste to coffee for some like me. I'm going they offer the new lids separately so I can get one.
I have the 12oz + slide-lock lid. It has been doing great! no leak so far, was wondering maybe yours has some defect on the lid possibly? I'm not so sure, but thanks for the review!
you're hilarious honestly and thanks for looking out for us large nosed folx, this absolutely helped me make my decision. and i have the exact same emotional hang ups about the lid. makes me v uncomfortable. doesn't look right.
Hi, thanks for the review. I have the fellow carter move and taste gets bitter everyday, even if I wash it with baking soda. Do you have any suggestions?
oof I'm sorry to hear! I'm not sure what to recommend given the ceramic coating. I'd recommend calling and explaining it to the folks at Fellow. If they don't have any solutions for you, let me know and I'll ask around!
Does the Fellow carter everywhere take the slide lid or any other lid like that?
fair critical review, thanks for it! btw you doht need to buy, you could just amzn order a product, test it 💅, and return for a full refund. i still appreciate my STANLEY Trigger-Action Travel Mug 🍻, although it's not perfect-perfect.
Why not showing with water what happens if you hold it upsidedown
True -- I will try and demonstrate more with actual water in the future. Thanks!
Great review of this bottle! Although the lid still touches your nose it’s better than a classic flip top where I always end up with a coffee spot on my nose. 🟤 👃 Also curious about the longevity of the lid….will this wear out or loosen over time?
those wicked coffee spots! yes it's much better than that. i'd also to be curious to see how the lid wears over time -- i'd also like to think a bespoke company like Fellow might do parts replacements etc?!
Honestly kind of love how off-kilter the bottle looks with the lid open. It’s a studied imperfection!
Love the video! I really enjoy mugs with a ceramic inside. For my purposes, the bottle acts solely as a coffee mug. From my experience, I've found that when I use metal mugs, my coffee has a metallic taste, at least over time. I absolutely despise that in my coffee lol. Really, the Carter Move Mug is great for anybody who wants to enjoy their coffee as it is: with no metallic aftertaste. Thanks again!
