I wish the post rock and indie rock genre had a lot more recognition, and I had people to share such gems with. There a lot of amazing pieces and bands like this one.
The sound vibrates and crumbles the accumulated resin of the week. My heart shines again with light. Toils and coils of angst unwind; for indeed I know it will never end. Thank you Explosions in the Sky.
Explosions in the sky your music and music videos are exactly how i see the world, thanks for expressing yourself and letting me understand myself more
Some of the notes from the first few minutes reminded me of GY!BE's song, Antennas to Heaven, and some of the parts sounded more like other post rock bands than EITS. I guess they want to give the message that great music is another thing that's never going to stop.
from the new album this song is the most "ouf ot context" one feeling I have ... like it is not in the same box as every other EITS songs (most if the times), but it is coming to be my favourite one from the album ... refreshing! great job guys, I can hear the messages, feelings behind the songs... grateful to have them heard. take care take care take care
Played this on repeat yesterday. Favorite song in the record. Wish I could’ve heard it last night in Houston but nevertheless, it was a great experience. Thank you!
In the name of Allah, I invite you to worship Allah alone, so say: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad the Messenger of Allah. This is how I entered Islam. Read about our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, whom Allah sent as a mercy to the worlds, to keep us away from Hell and admit us to Paradise by following him, Allah willing, for he is one of Allah prophets at the end of time. .. .. And the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers ......... ....... ..........
Hearing your sound does makes the world brighter, and fills me with the will to keep going everyday despite all the troubles. You guys are amazing! P.S: please come to brazil :)
"The topic of our fate after death is a touchy subject, but nevertheless the error of anticipating nothingness needs rectifying. It is possible that this view may make it easier to cope with the prospect of personal extinction, since, if we accept it, we can no longer anticipate being hurled into oblivion [...] We may wear our personalities more lightly, seeing ourselves as simply variations on a theme of subjectivity which is in no danger of being extinguished by our passing. Of course we cannot completely put aside our biologically given aversion to the prospect of death, but we can ask, at its approach, why we are so attached to this context of consciousness. Why, if experience continues anyway, is it so terribly important that it continue within this set of personal characteristics, memories, and body? If we are no longer haunted by nothingness, then dying may seem more like the radical refreshment of subjectivity than its extinction." Thomas W. Clark Death, Nothingness, and Subjectivity

EITS UA-cam is shitting on your art in my opinion, I don't expect you to do anything about them sticking a commercial in the middle of one of your songs and if you do read this, are you okay with your music being spliced with ads? Just mistakenly played this on vinyl at 45rpm and I like it even more at that speed.
