  • Theodore O'Connor was an eventing Legend. He was an Arabian, Thoroughbred, Shetland cross that stood 14.1 hands tall. He ran head to head with horses twice his size and left them in the dust. He was put down this morning after an accident at David and Karen O'Connor's farm. RIP Teddy! We all love you!

Teddy was such an inspiration. Only 14.1hh and doing this? That's amazing! He helped my 12.2hh pony and I jump 2'9. That may seem small, but for such a small horse, it's HUGE!!! Thank you Theodore O' Connor, RIP.

They were out for a hack .He spooked and bolted. He ran off into a barn and severed his tendons and arteries. The vet said the injuries were catastrophic :( :(

I had been told that he had a full brother that was extremely green (if not completely unbroken) that was for sale.. for extremely cheap too. Doubt it's still for sale but apparently Teddy has some siblings out there to be found!

pound for pound shetlands are the strongest breed horse/pony in the world. Supersize them to a Belgian and they can haul 3 times more . Mix with a thoroughbred (speed) and Arabian (endurance). Amazing!! I had a Shetland/QH 14 hh she was a powerhouse..free jumped 5ft could do more...

That grey thing was a well like a band-aid but it opened their nostril so
when working very hard they would have no trouble breathing
