Hate government when they try to separate two loving couples. I'm been in a long distance relationship myself and I'm happily married for 4yrs now but the paperwork, money spent and time required for us to be together was just crazy.
혹시라도 비자에 도움이 될 수 있으니 혼인신고는 영국에서 먼저 하시길 추천드려요. 증명서류 받는것도 그렇고 절차도 영국이 제일 경제적입니다. ( 한국 or 스페인에서 등록하시면 나중에 번역 공증 받아야하고 스페인같은 경우는 시간이 오래걸리기로 유명해요 ㅋㅋ)영국 혼인 증명서가 있다면 나중에 두분 나라에 각자 가족등록하는것도 수월하거든요.

Can Minyong's employer in the UK sponsor him on a "Work Visa?" In the USA, it is common for employers to sponsor foreign employees on work Visas. Perhaps it is different in the UK. What if Minyong went to graduate school in the UK (Part-time-2nd Masters or Phd) and got another student Visa?
I think it's a great option, unfortunately the UK government makes it quite expensive for small firms especially to do this for employees :( so they make it really hard for people to get sponsored by their employers or get jobs to be sponsored, not sure how so in comparison with USA but just to provide some context. Fingers crossed it could work out for Minyong, it's so unfair!
We think his company might sponsor his visa if it comes to that, but he doesn't want to become the company's slave lol (usually here if the company sponsors the visa they always ask more of employees), so hopefully we can get a visa of our own, but it's an option!
