Wonderful playthrough. Talking through both sides and what each thinks the other knows was a blast. Age of Civilization and Galaxy are so minimalist, this feels like the opposite end of the spectrum.
~ 57:03, when Marco and Anna swap items. I would have given the Flashlight to Marco, instead of the Short Sword. Anna being immune to Sense makes her harder to pin down, and her ability to ignore Noise tokesn on items found is a huge benefit when the killer doesn't know where she is. On a future turn where the Radio is repaired, generating Noise, the killer would be incentivized to know who it is, and would likely use the Sense action in the blue zone. Telling the killer that they sense nobody in the blue zone when the Radio is repaired is a dead giveaway that it was Anna. And since Anna is already wounded, she'd be a prime target for more damage to end the game. Marco could have given the Firecracker in return, giving flexibility for either William or Marco to make Noise on a turn where Anna hides.
Your tutorials are very helpful and entertaining. I'm backing Andromeda's edge after your video on it and now I'm wondering where I'm gonna find the money to get this too! Some typos on the cards but I've no doubt that would be fixed long before the product is finalised.
Great video. This actually seems like a nice, streamlined experience. I am guessing different killers mix it up as well as survivors. are there different maps?
As usual a great playthrough, and as a fan of Day by Dailight I think is a great implementation. I love the 3d house as a screen, the fact that the killer become stronger with time being (this recall a feature of the videogame: after X second a killer is chasing a survivor it become faster). I do not really love the winning condition of the killer, but I guess there are not many alternative, and there are many ways for survivors to heal. I just wish there was a possibility to play with four survivors, so to extend the game to 5 players.
Looks pretty fun! Backing at 1$ for now. It does seem a bit rough for the survivors to win though. I’m usually the “1” in these “1 vs many” types of games, since I’m the more experienced player by far, and I do not enjoy destroying a whole group’s efforts and make it seem as an impossible mission from the start. Overall I’m quite impressed with how streamlined and beautiful it looks.
Another fantastic video. Great work. What did you think of the house divider? Was it easy to take down, put back in the box and set it up again for a new game?
Fine video, as usual. Enjoy your clear presentation and easy to understand voice. Still, given that there is ONE killer, but several players on the other side of the divider, it was confusing and weird to hear you keep referring to the Killer as 'They'. It is a He. Even in the 21st century, that should not really be an issue. Otherwise, thanks for outlining this interesting, unique title.
Did the rules change from this since the game was released do you know? I FINALLY got my copy and was looking to play it soon but this being released around the time of the kickstarter makes me wonder if things changed since then. Thanks!
This game is an interesting take on hidden movement mechanism. I dislike the theme, but the game is interesting. I do feel however that here is present the same problem that we've seen in every one vs. many games: the One is very, very powerful, and the scales are tipped in their direction. It would be good if there was a mechanism for mitigating the dice results and avoiding the game becoming the next luck fest. Good showcase, Jon.
What about communication in that game? Seems like the killer is hearing everyone's voices :o so he probably know where they are going or what they did. He hears their strategy..
It is the correct use of the english language though: when speaking about someone whose sex is unknown, the correct word is they. Please note that that grammatic rule has existed for a long ass time now
This is without a doubt the best tutorial of Terrorscape I have found. Thank you
I don't want any new games, but this looks pretty fun, i might have to back it. Thanks for the video.
By far the best video I’ve watched on this game. Thank you!

I’m absolutely gonna love this as horror slasher fan and a dbd fan

You make some very solid strategic points here!
Another great and very helpful video! Subbed.
It's like....Clue meets Battleship meets Friday the 13th the game!
Great video! I was unaware of this KS. This is very sad, as I am a huge horror movie fan. 😟

There are several other maps available as expansions on their kickstarter. There's a cabin, a secret lab, and a castle if I remember rightly.

You can probably home brew some house rules
There a variant to continue playing on when someone dies. There’s actually a couple of different variants they are coming out with.
audio is extremely low, but great video. thanks for sharing
It seems the kind of game where accidental information leak from the survivors is going to happen a lot.
Great video! At 23:00, does Anna tell the killer that she is using an extra action card? Does she reveal which card she is using?
Unfortunately, it's been too long since I played this game to remember the rules enough to answer your question. Sorry about that!
A new drinking game! Wait, no. Taking a shot every time would "obviously" kill you!

I only assembled and disassembled it once, but I found it to be reasonably easy. It fits in to the box largely assembled, at least my prototype did.

this is like Cluedo on a new level :D
Great video

I am unsure, sorry.
Thank you, have you done the great wall or Robinson Crusoe ?
No, I haven't covered either of those games on JGG.
I have a rules question, if you search as a killer, and you find no one, do you discard 2 cards from your deck?
Unfortunately, it's been too long since I played this game to remember the rules enough to answer your question. Sorry about that!

Mmhmm. So they have to not say out loud what they're planning. They can use vague terms.
I've seen playthrough where players point to positions and point to cards etc
Adds to the suspense as you have to be quiet as possible
I feel like it would be more fun if the survivors did not know where the killer was.
Dead by Daylight: the Boardgame.
This honestly looks way better. I’m a big DBD fan but man LV99 made their board game incredibly boring to watch and play.
wow really puts that incredibly ugly Dead By Daylight game to shame
I was going to say it: this is a great implementation for the videogame Dead by Deaylight.
Speaks too fast
I love his videos, they are truly amazing. But whenever I listen, I must say I check the playback speed every time 😅😂
I've been trying to slow down, its tough! I speak faster than this in my everyday life, so this is already a slower version for me.
@@JonGetsGames you're doing amazing man. I adore your videos 💪
Good walk through. However, you constantly saying they when referring to a single character is annoying.
