  • A beautiful song, written by Larry Vincent and Harry Pease,
first recorded in 1936 (16th November) by Roy Fox & his
    Orchestra.
Lucille Marie Raymonde Savoie, known professionally as
Lucille Starr, was a Canadian singer, songwriter, and yodeler
    originally from Saint Boniface, Manitoba.
1964 In she had a huge hit single with this ballad aka
("Quand Le Soleil Dit Bonjour Aux Montagnes",
When the sun says hello to the mountains).
In 1990 Susan McCann from Ireland covered the song and
became a hit for Susan in UK & Ireland.
Of course many have covered the song which still has that
    haunting melody.
I dedicate this to all those who have lost a loved one, and to
this day, have their memories brightened by hearing the
    songs they shared together.
    Thank You for listening
    Vocals by Gehan Gunasekera
