I have rented both the Kia Sorento LX and Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and I was very impressed. I have to admit I was wrong about the base engine (both versions were AWD).They both drove great. I'm likely to get the two row version: Kia Sorento LX or EX-T or Hyundai Santa Fe Sport (base or Turbo version) I'm torn between the base engine or the turbo engine. Any suggestions? I'm not going to rule out the Hyundai Tucson or Kia Sportage either.
"More fidelity out of compressed audio files." I think that's technically impossible. It might add some processing to make it sound "better" but you can't add music that isn't there to start with.
There is a part of me that wishes that Kia and Hyundai would have kept the original names for their three row crossovers (Borego and Veracruz) When you think of the current Kia Sorento/ Hyundai Santa Fe/ Santa Fe Sport, which model do you think of first? : The two row models or the three row models. You could have had the Sorento/Santa Fe as the two row models and the Borego and Veracruz as the three row models. Maybe down the line the Borego and Veracruz will come back as full size crossovers. (Based on the Azera/Cadenza platform)
It is not overpriced. You really need to compare details of every option and you will see that the Sorento is CLEARLY the value.

Kia/hyundai are getting way overpriced with to many option packages and less standard features
dave dunn its not overpriced.. the top of the line Pilot, Highlander, Pathfinder goe for 40k you just think its overprice because its a KIA..
+jvrdlc I saw one for 46K. That is grossly overpriced for any mid size lower tier every day vehicle like this!
