First time I heard Soorya singing live. Live performance is one of the most difficult things to do as you can't sign again to make it perfect, you can't make mistakes and so many people watching and listening you. Soorya aced it all. So much dedication, feelings and emotions in her signing and at the same time very relaxed and humble. Thank you for your excellent performance Soorya and thank you Gurumaa Ashram for sharing this for others to listen to this beautiful rendition. P.s I was listening to this recording while writing my proposal, great motivation. Pranaam.

.. Our favorite Sooryagayathri at Gurumaa's ashram. Among all singers, Sooryagayathri is one of our favorites. A few years ago, I commented that she's the only one I shall see by paying money if I must. And when we heard and saw her sing at Gurumaa's ashram- on youtube, it only confirms that conviction.. She's God's gift to India and the world.. Sri Shankaracharya's anugraha rests with her as she continues to shine.. Fame sits lightly on her as she continues her sadhana - bringing solace and comfort to damp hearts and inspiring children to invest in the sadhana of studying Carnatic and Hindustani music as Gurumaa so eloquently put it so beautifully.
