This POV experience was just awesome. Yeah I remember this from the 90s, thought the engine was super at the time. I was too young to know, that 3 cylinder or this type of class Japanese vehicle pretty much doesn't have much speed. Still in a small Caribbean country like ours, anything that is able to do at least 60 is considered fast.

Hey Waybeforethefame, your videos are outstanding. Thank you for the "fire" sweathshirt that was amazing. I was not expecting the pen too, but that was great. Thank you for making the videos on the KEI truck, with talks with Amir about obtaining one. Continue doing what you do and you will surpass your handle.

Back in the 80's I had a Honda civic with a 4 speed. I drove that thing all over the place from Washington DC to OC Maryland, up to Atlantic City NJ. Driving it 60 MPH or more it sounded like it would blow up.

These videos are very informative and well-presented - thankyou. I am looking at a mid-90s Hijet van to camp in for occasional overnights (make my work schedule less taxing). I'm also in NY, drive 120 miles each way every day currently. Using a Kei truck twice a week and overnighting would save me a lot of mile and hours. Clearly the 5-speed is my best option.

It was fun because my car's engine was not screaming at me lol. (Chevy Aveo 2007)

With the off road guys buying up 4 speeds, it's not much more for a 5 speed. If you're street driving, I'd wait for a 5. My Honda is very happy at 80 kph. Beyond that is a little stressful. And keep representing those brown interiors. I'm having some Honda brown mixed up at a local paint shop.

Great video to convey a sense of owning and driving the Hijet. Given that you start in second, you might use slightly larger tires for a little more top speed.
