Seamless Coop also caused a dip in playercounts, because people would rather enjoy the game in coop than deal with the average Japanese gamedev's archaic vision of what multiplayer should be. Someone needs to get Miyazaki his PC-98 and warm up the bath for him at the old folks' home, instead of letting him completely mess up the multiplayer of a 200 million dollar game.

I got a few hate comments on my steam profile from ds3 but not much. In the last couple weeks on elden ring pc though the hatemail/hate comments have actually been popping off for me and my friends. We were running a friend through the game (his first souls game) and got invaded by multiple people that left us hate comments. Most recently we got a hacker lmfao. We were summoning right outside the malenia fog wall and he attacked us so I was like fuck it lets fight him (I was doing some greatbow shenanigans for fun). Dude runs away up the elevator and then comes back down a few seconds later and pulls out a serpent hunter spear with some sort of buzzsaw cheat that does the whirligig saw spin but also shoots some sort of projectiles rapidly and basically insta killed all of us. We were just dying laughing that he commented on all our profiles after that talking shit after hacking. Actually looks like he deleted some of his comments now that I'm looking again, kinda sad and pathetic. But I love the hate comments, they fuel me plus on steam you can leave them on your public profile forever for everyone to see lol
