"Tony Stark reincarnated in another world"...LOL. I'm still curious why the gods abandoned the world and who the fisherman (god?) he met on earth was and why this person was considered by the new world as being dangerous. My guess is that he is the god of the seas that everyone seems to despise. It's also interesting how all of the fantasy systems in this world are broken, or running on low power mode, ostensibly waiting for someone to power them back up.
Yeah I am going to start book 2 in a few days. I am reading the 11th book in another series first. I am thinking that it is more like the gods of Olympus using mortals as tools and pawns. Which is why they are hated and despised.
Honestly, I resisted this book at first. Kindle Unlimited pushed it at me every single time I opened the app on my iPhone, and every time it did, I brushed past it and went on to something else. The 80's color scheme on the cover, the name, the description... it sounded so stupid to me. The last time I had such a negative reaction to a book cover it was "We Are Legion (We Are Bob)" by Dennis Taylor. That was 2017'ish, and I've since listened to first book 30+ times on Audible, and the rest of the series probably 20+ times.
I broke down and checked it out on Kindle U at the beginning of this month (July). And I LOVED it. I loved everything you gushed about in your video. I also loved the romance, too. It felt a little high schoolish, but it still kinda fit the innocence of the world we're exploring. And George, the mayor, OMG... I couldn't quit laughing. When I finished it, I saw Kindle's note that Book 2 was coming out like 4 days later, and dude, that was a tough 4 days. I read through Book 2 in about a week and loved how the author really fleshed out the world and let us see even more. I don't know if you've seen his note, but he claims he'll be able to produce a new book roughly every 3 months. I hope the quality continues like this.

Yeah this book was an impulse buy for me but it was worth it. I need to check out the next one, but I am in the middle of another book ill get to it after. I hope he can come out with one every few months that would be awesome if the quality stays just as great.
