    My friends used to own the 3 chimneys house that featured in the Railway children they owned it during the late 1980s and 1990s. Love your version.

      Ha ha that’s good to hear
      Weathering can be tricky you can’t always copy the real world colours sometimes need to be toned down or muted in 1:76 well I think so 🤷‍♂️

    I have watched several videos and they've been really informative and have given more ideas on how to detail my terraced houses when I get my precision applicator I will be getting in between the tracks and houses once again a big thank you

    Nice job
    For lead flashing I use silver / grey tissue paper, easy to cut and easy to get to follow the contours of the substrate.

    Looks really good. Mortar was often used as flashing material between slates and chimney, more so in a vernacular setting as it was cheap.

    Kitchen foil works well for flashing.

    Brilliant mate awesome detailing question for you how do you get it to light up I see wires in there do have 9 volt battery or will pick up the layout somewhere 👍🏻👍🏻

      Cheers mate in time a separate bus wire will be ran independently to the track feed but 9v batteries can work fine

      This is a kit from Wills CK10 but you can get the building material separate

    Hey Sam I have a question when you primed the house you used magnolia paint I was wondering if instead I used Tamiya surface primer would I get the same effects that you did with the WWS weathering powder?

      Hi Dakota , the magnolia makes a good base coat for stone , I’m not sure what colour your surface primer is ?

      You will get a stone look more of a granite than sand or lime

    I know it is easy to be a critical but please take this in the spirit of improving your model. Before you painted the model you should have tryed to discuss the plastic part join line down the side of the building. Luckily you could have a second try by modeling a cheaper along the offending corner. Regards Andrew Johnson.
