Rodrigo and Freddie - those 'errors' show your handmade love. Just put something there on the counter, an appliance like the air fryer, or perhaps a mat of some sort to cover it. Or maybe it will just grow on you and you will both love the little mistake. Praying for you two and all the animals during this unrest in Panama. Stay safe.
Suggestion: Cut out a center strip in the damaged area of the countertop to a little over a quarter of an inch deep and 3 to 4" wide. Add pieces of a narrow decorative tile (3 or 4" width). Seal and grout. It should be a wonderful contrast to the concrete and eliminate totally the damaged area. Should also be a rather easy job using the right preparation and correct tools.

Bad idea because the steel,reinforcement will then be removed or too close to the surface and will rust from moisture.

Hi Rodrigo and Freddie. I used to be a plumber and wish I could be there to do all of your plumbing. One point that I mentioned in an earlier video is after gluing joints, when you connect pieces together give them a 1/4 turn to spread the glue and set the joint. You’ll never get a leak again. Freddie is a great addition to your channel and life. ❤

Because of the situation going on there (protests), y’all really do need to get more serious and start working on a big garden with lots of vegetables to sustain you during hard times. You can do garden beds, or greenhouse gardening, but it should happen soon. Great work on the farm so far.👍😊
Yeah, grow something that you know is easy, something that the bugs don’t ravage. I like tomatoes growing in Nov, but I’m in the tropical zone.
Maybe grow potatoes and make vodka you can use as petrol for your car.

I’m just so sorry for the people of your country being held without food, gasoline, hay for animals. It’s so very wrong. Can it end soon? Makes me sad and angry. Rodrigo, can I suggest you use a food grade oil like coconut oil. Warm pore and immediately move around so you can polish.oh no you sealed it okay don’t bother with oil.

I would talk with your neighbours with the grocery stores, whatever fruits and vegetables are on sale get them if they’re frozen keep them frozen and just put that out every day I grew up on a farm trust me chickens, love, fruits, and vegetables and they’re really really good for them

I’m so sorry y’all are having these issues with the protests. It’s very sad and scary I’m sure. Maybe you could use leaves or dead grass to keep the poor goats warm. I feel so bad for them they already have it rough in those little stalls! I’m praying for these problems to be resolved and life can go back to normal

There's something perfect about imperfection. Forget the mistake but the remember the LESSON. The sink looks amazing! Congratulations on your kitchen! Part of the adventure is just getting there! Electric bikes are a very practical solution bc you still have electricity. Also I hope you add beautiful paint color in kitchen and not leave it black.

Hey guys I’ve got a few suggestions for you. Look for farmers that grow hay. They usually have a lot of cows. Go talk to them. Perhaps the farmer has extra corn to sell you. See if they will sells a little hay to you. Make a list of the things you need. Maybe borrow Jordan and Kaylees truck and go get supplies. Buy extra gas containers . This keeps happening. Good luck.

The whole at the back of the sink is not just to prevent overflow, it also provides a way for the air in the pipes to get out and the water to go down.

Cut out 12 inches of the damaged concrete making a straight edge. Add extra bracing underneath to support it. Form a new square piece and place it in the newly created hole.

Okay guys….I have to say that I kinda like the imperfection on the countertop. My other idea beyond leaving it as is, is to fill it in w an epoxy. I’ve seen some cool things on UA-cam using colored epoxy on countertops. You can make it look like stone. I’ll look up the company and come back and edit it in. Good luck and you’re doing great! Mistakes are how you learn. Think of all the people that don’t get started because they don’t know 💯 what they’re doing. If you look at it that way you’re way ahead of the average human! 😊🧐😉😆

Can you have underground gas tanks on the farm, or maybe they allow above ground tanks. Have the regular gas trucks deliver gas, when you can get it, and fill the tank up. Of course there will be a 😢problem if you have gas and diesel equipment. Tanks would have to be at edge of property so gas can be delivered. Also be a prep-per and get as much food for you and animals as you can. This takes a lot of money in the beginning but would help during times like this.
