As GPS have a practice which is supposed to provide a service for the The NHS, so why doesn't aren't they held to account when not giving service required. They get paid a 100 pounds a month for each patient on their books then paid for every patient they see. Each flu jab, covid jab is 37.50.
Stop treating foreigners
If the NHS is in so much crisis why has starmer taken her away from her job that he says is critical .
PFI Came in under Blair /Brown 🤷
So gp complains that they average 2000 plus patients and can't cope.
He also says they get approx £100 per patient.
Well well, £200,000 a year and not seeing all the patients. No sympathy from me when Many only working 3 days a week.
3 weaks i have to wait for an appointment. For my gp to put me back on the same 3 migraine meds that havent worked for the past 10 year. They dont even try anymore. They are contracted on a per patient basis. Go its get you in and out as fast as possible.
@@steventurner197 I have tried everything even acupuncture. When I got an mri 8 year ago. The neurologist sayed chronic cluster migraines. 90% of ppl don't find anything to help the pain. And paracetamol only make them 10× worse. To the point I am sick or pass out with the pain.
The receptionists/wanna be GPs have a lot to answer for. They send links for appointments that do not work or are for surgeries miles away, put you through to chatbots, tell you to visit a chemist or A and E. They often have no knowledge whatsoever of your illness, yet you still have to go through the rigmarole of telling them all your symptoms.
@@steventurner197 I have tried diets i have ear lobs Peirced as that some times helps ppl. I have even spent 6k over 2 year getting acupuncture treatment for it. And nothing has helped.
@@HelmutSchmacker. I don't even bother explaining to them. Unless they can show me a md certificate. And won't give out personal health details to someone who don't have to abide to doc patient confidentiality.
I trying to make GP appointment for over the month, but its like playing the lottery, sorry you didnt win today tey your look tomorrow. I working in hospital and finishing my shift after 8am. How i suppose to book appointment? How hard its to book appointment couple days in advance? How was that possible before C? Are people quadruple during C? Tried to come to gp personally and whatever time waiting room for 30 people its always empty. Or receptionist will tell just go to AE. Accident and Emergency are exactly what its stand innname and not to sort flu or back pain, skin rash ....
Say what... he wants more money 😂
There’s something sadly wrong with the overall health care system in the uk. I trained in the nhs , now retired and have lived in Australia for the last 30 years. I try to visit uk every couple of years.
My 89 year old mum who lives in uk needed a hip operation and went private as the nhs list was so long. Thankfully it went smoothly with no complications. But it cst her £16000 which equates to AU$32000.
A couple of moths ago a fiends father in law who retired out here need exactly the same op. He also went private and had no complications. It cost him $AU 18000 which equates to £9000. That’s almost double the cost despite theprocedure and care being just as good as good if not better than in the uk. And also our health care professional have much better pay and work life balance. Not saying it’s perfect though.
Somethings seriously wrong here as it would seem the wealthy in the uk have gotten even more wealthy on the backs of the not so well off. The greed is obscene.
One of the first things we noticed when we arrived here was the wealth of the country is much more evenly divided amongst the population. It seems that’s not changed.
It's called the decline of Christianity and the values which it promoted. But most people won't admit to it, because they hate their own culture and religion. Oh well, create a void, and Islam will move into it. Bravo.
Our GP like all independent contractors are completely funded by tax payers, every item and person in the practice is paid for by us, but our GP chooses to run his admin thorugh a limited company which means they pay less Tax. They also insist on taking on more and more paitents, making access harder. They are TOTAL HYPOCRITS, and like many GP's they are so well paid they can afford to only work part time.
@@jp80a68 yep, 3 days week especially younger female doctors. Of course they still will get full salary, and if they don't 3/5 of £200,000 is till £120,000 !!!
Don't believe it!
Yay for Tories for ruining NHS
Just going to forget the decline under labour and the greed of money grabbing nhs workers then
The NHS is a product of it's own making and beyond all parties management.
Tories will be long gone and these ppl will still not stop blaming them for everything, tories live inside their heads, Maggie Thatcher haunts them in their nightmares
I'm actually afraid to go into my local hospital.
The amount of people that have had terrible treatment there, especially the elderly.
It's disgusting !!!
