An open loop cooling system (e.g., Yamaha WaveRunner) allows the surrounding ocean water to run through the engine. Again, when metal is exposed to water and salt, it will corrode relatively quickly.
??? FX /SVSHO...all the same, as you wrote in specs. No matter which model, all same lbs, cc, Gall., length etc - just diff color edition. What about their hp?
FX HO is 180hp although Yamaha never publishes an official HP number. And the SVHO is 250hp. The HO is 40lbs lighter than the SVHO. The dry weight is 800+ lbs. can't remember off the top of my head.
And difference between HO and HO cruiser is the seat. The Limited SVHO comes with almost every Yamaha accessories. Stereo, extra storage bags, matching tube and tow rope and ski cover.
I miss that
Ordered mine in February, where's it at? Waiting patiently up here in New England, hurry up YAMAHA!!!
You always see theses craft demod on glass...how do they ride in normal conditions...windy with chop?
Keep up the good work loved it.
That 6” Garmin is a great option! I am curious if the front side has a splash shield like the Sea-Doo fish pro…?
Am I taking a risk taking these out onto the ocean because of the salt? Good or bad?
