- Well this is a Christmas probably like no other most of us have ever had. Friends and family all seem so far away this year and its an emotional time for all. But we will get through this and better times will come again. So here's to friends, family and the people that help make life that much better for us all.

Steve, why aren't you here??? I really regret that we didn't meet earlier. Tears just fall from my eyes when I listen and watch you play your guitar. It still doesn't dawn on me that you are no longer HERE, but you are there... high in the sky. 🎸🎸🎸We will also be there with you someday.🎸🎸🎸
Sadly Steve passed away on 3rd January 2021 aged 35. Reason for his death was not know for several months but now confirmed by his sister Kerry as resulting from an unexpected cardiac arrest, twanging in heaven now, RIP amigo.

Well it most certainly was for me, as it is for me 99% of the time with living on my own.
I just hope that you and your own family were all 3 together this year.

We were so lucky here in South Australia where I live as there are no restrictions on family gatherings here for Christmas, I'm really feeling for you all over there, hopefully 2021 will bring the world back to normality, such a beautiful song Steve & thanks for sharing

Cheers bro but no virus in NZ, so other than keeping a track of our movements via a phone app it's basically back to normal. Anyone entering our country has to go into automatic 14 day government govern isolation whether they have the virus or not and must show a negative before going any further. There is always that chance someone will get through though but been luck so far.

@@guiliagrassi4317 Yes a tragic loss. I miss him very much. Unfortunately I don't know the cause myself and the funeral hasn't taken place yet. Things are going so slowly due to Covid. I am hoping to hear from the family in due course.

Lovely Steve, there are so many beautiful strat tones I don’t know why people get so obsessed with ‘that sound’, whatever it is. 👏👏
Thanks Alan i agree its more about the sound fitting with the song in my opinion. That sound works well for the early hits and what we expect but its nice with songs that aren't associated with the shadows to try some other tones etc.
