My eldest daughter fell in love with the 'Carry on' films when she was about 4 years old, watching them back to back when she was hospitalised for 6 months (22yrs ago) . Barbara Windsor was her absolute hero but not just because of her acting but because they both had the same lifelong chronic condition. She cried for a week when she passed away and even now watches her on repeat with her own children.
