    I like this shorter videos so much, by the way.

    I’ve got an ID.4 GTX, the blue power bar is only 100% when the battery is 85% or over, and the battery is warm. I never find it feels slow at lower battery percentages though, and in some 0-60 testing it exceeds the official figures by over half a second so maybe it pushes a bit more power than the 300PS max anyway. We also have a Tesla M3 LR, and that always feels even snappier when the battery is full or high, think it’s a ‘feature’ of battery powered cars related to battery chemistry. I like the ID.5 GTX, my local VW dealer has a standard ID.5 and it’s a slightly better overall shape than the 4. I still prefer the Enyaq VRS though!

    yep power limit is just like my AWD ID4 Pro. You never get full power unless its like 95 percent full on the battery. Always has enough power for me.

      I see the same on my ID4 Pro S AWD, but my long term efficiency is 3.5mi/kWhin normal driving. I did a few little road trips, but that’s mostly daily commutes.

    Does it still (or again) have the Travel assist? Couldn't find it anymore in the configurator for none of the ID cars.

      This one yes. But chip shortage.

    So does this mean that if you were going slowly through snow that the awd system would not engage to help traction?

      You have to activate the winter mode for that.

    Hi, did you say that you charged it every 150-170 km's? Even the charging sessions might be quicker because of the charging curve around 170 kw you mentioned, isn't it a bit excessive and time costing?

      No, it is faster to charge between 10 and 60%. And it also has to do that the chargers we wanted to use were apart 150 to 200km.
      Charging over 60% is slower

      @@BatteryLife thank you.. So can we say that you had 9 charging stops of around 10-15 minutes each, during a 1500 km trip from point A to B?

    I'd rather charge to a higher % e.g. 80%. There is at least a 5 min overhead coming off the highway to charge and if unlucky, also have to wait for a charger. Plus one may need more time than 10-60% gives to have a decent break.

    @Battery Life:
    Hello Chris,
    Just looked into German Konfigurator, ID5 GTX cannot be ordered anymore in Germany.

      Apperently yes, only the PRO can be configured. The ID5 GTX isn’t showing up and I’m not surprised. For my GTX deposit (in Malta 🇲🇹) back in December 2021, I’m still without a production date. Makes me wonder whether I should keep holding on to this booking or cancel and move onto another model/brand altogether.

    Hey you guys from Germany: what used EV car would you recommend buying under 20.000 euro and why? Logical bet I think is KIA E Soul but there might be some battery degradation problems...

      Depends on your driving profile and your personal preferences. Do you need space, can you charge at home or at work?

    Stopping every 200km if you are charging only to 50-55% would be seriously annoying. I haven't bought an EV yet because they are almost impossible to get here in Canada but this kind of with charging makes me wonder if it's worth buying a full EV. The network here is still full of mostly 50kW chargers. Yes the higher rate chargers are coming but boy this isn't reassuring.
