- Two new beats out today! A couple of years ago, on my first trip to Tokyo, I remember visiting Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. There was something so peaceful about stepping out of one of the busiest areas (Shinjuku station is actually the busiest in the world - google it!) to a peaceful garden. It was such a wonderful place of refuge, something about the quiet hush of the garden in the rain, with the city still in sight.
For this, middle of the day part of the beat tape, I wanted it to feel like a lunch-break walk in the park. Taking some time out from the busy-ness in the day. I hope it helps you to find a little moment of peace in your day too. Both tracks are instrumental. In fact I even sampled the sound of walking out of my office in "13:00 Walk In The Park". It's followed by probably the oldest beat on this tape, "14:00 Shinjuku". This was a track I wrote for a @WeAreSetSail video I made on that same trip to Tokyo. So it's been around a while, but never had an actual release!
Also shoutout to @jonmariomagic for the synth sample that became the chord progression of "13:00 Walk In The Park". It also features a bunch of slices of samples that Instagram followers sent to me a while back! Fun way to find new sounds.

Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful Masterpiece with the gift God has given you. I love how you thought of lunch break. I walk home for my lunch and it is such a lovely listening piece. It only takes 9 minutes to get home so I can listen to the 12:00 and the 1:00 when I'm walking home/ walking back to work.

Why Shinjuku duration is only 2 minutes? Please, make it longer!
A lot of the tracks are around that length. With it being part of an album with 24 tracks, I wanted to keep the full thing from getting too long, so it means keeping songs short!
