Great idea. I'll try it thanks. With the maggots being heavier than the rig foam maybe it would be better to tie them on the bottom of the foam, ensuring the hook remains in the correct orientation
It can't just be me who's thought this but maggots on any rig aren't really a secret. They have accounted for 1000s of carp. issue I have is 90% of waters you would be plagued by roach or perch long before a carp gets a sniff
