John Lennon - You Saved (Served) My Soul

Known to be the last demo John made. Two versions were done, and straight after there was a very short version of "Serve Yourself". I had the idea to merge the three together, and this is my attempt. :)

All of his demos sound markedly worse than the studio versions for most of his career

@@GoingMarco Well, you know how it goes, some great singers, Elvis for example, needed good songwriters. Some great singers and songwriters needed grat musicians. Some great guitar players needed great songwriters and singers. John..well, .he just needed good producers and sound techs.

@@GoingMarco Ageed Two of my favorites are Bad To me and You Saved my Soul. As I mentioned somewhere else recently, I think The Virtual Beatles did a pretty good job of re-constructing the demo on You Saved My Soul. I know some say that they watered down Lennon's voice in it but the music and the harmonies they added were great.
