Hi Jennifer, I just want to thank you for replying to our questions because by doing this you keep us motivated and interested in English. I wish you all the best.
Hi Jennifer nice lesson listening to us this lesson is so useful for beginners tq Jennifer Because nature is beautiful Because he is doing excercise Because they are happy Because he is listening to music
I teach English in my country, and I gotta say, you are a true inspiration. I come to your channel quite often and I always find useful ideas and teaching methods
1. Because the view is pretty. 2. Because he is working out 3. Because they are celebrating and dancing. 4. Because he is singing or doing karaoke 5. Because they are spending time together. Why is Jennifer my cyber teacher english? Because she is lovely. Thanks Jenny.
Why are you awesome? Because you wrote good answers! Just be sure to end those answers with a period. Technically, they're incomplete sentences, but they sound very natural in conversation and in informal writing. We often answer in fragments because the whole idea is understood from context. :) Take care!
Thank you, teacher Jennifer. It's good practice. My answers: 1. He is taking a picture because the place is wonderful for him. 2. He is on the floor because he isn't lazy and he goes to the gym to exercise. 3. The ladies have pretty dresses because they went to the festival. 4. He has a microphone because he is a singing. 5. They sit together because they playing music.
Good ideas! 2. Yes. He's not lazy. He's exercising. 3. Yes, and now the ladies are dancing. 5. Correction: They are sitting together because they are playing music.
Good practice! Correction: They are sitting together because they like to play the guitar on the beach. / they like singing and playing music on the beach.
1. Because he loves it. / He's taking a picture because he loves it. / Because he loves the trees. 2. Because he's exercising./ He's on the floor because he's exercising. Good practice!
Hello Lara! Here are corrections to help: Why am I watching this video? Because I like studying with Jennifer 'Cause I love English. 'Cos I enjoy practicing/practising English. (Use 'cos and 'cause only in very informal writing. It's something we often say, but don't usually write.)
1 Because the senery is very beatiful. 2 Because he wants to exercise. 3 Because they are celebrating a special day. 4 Because he is singing a song. 5 Because they are playing the music.
Hi. Remember to make a full sentence. 1 I like this place because the sdenery is very beautiful. 2 He's going to the gym because he wants to exercise. 3 They're at a restaurant because they are celebrating a special day. 4 They're listening to him because he is singing a song and he has a good voice. 5 I'm listening to the musicians because they are playing music.
Can you tell me what's the difference between "the new is more an addition to the old here" and "the new is another addition to the old here". I usually use 'another' for single countable noun. Why use 'more' in the above?
Hi. The meanings of those sentences aren't very clear to me. The first sounds more conversational. We use "more" or "more of" something when we explain or identify something with a degree of uncertainty. For example, I saw an object in the sky last night. It wasn't a plane. It was more of a disc, like some of the UFOs we see in movies.
Because it's a nice place. Because he is doing exercise. Because they are in the fashion show. Because he likes to music. Because they are enjoying evening.
Try to create a whole sentence: I like the park because it's a nice place. He's healthy because he exercises. They look nice because they are in the fashion show. ...

Good answers, Sara! My suggestions/corrections: 1- Because it is a beautiful place/day. Because the trees have beautiful colors. 2- Because he wants to be handsome man./Because he wants to look good. Because he's exercising. 3- Because it is their culture. Because they want look beautiful. Because it is a festival. 4- Because maybe they have a date. Because there is beautiful sunshine. Be prepared to explain what you've trained for and what you're looking for. How do you fit into their company? What can you contribute? How do your strengths position you to add value to the company? Don't focus much on weaknesses, but you can describe areas in which you wish to gain experience and skill. Study the salary range before the interview and be prepared to name a range that you feel you're worth. You can also ask, "What is the salary range for this position?" Good luck!
Let me try to answer. 1. He's taking a picture because he wants to remember this beautiful view. 2. He is on the floor because he's exercising. 3. Because these ladies participate in the feast. 4. He has a microphone because he is going to sing. 5. Because they both love playing the guitar.
Good practice, Valentina! My comments: 1. GOOD ANSWER. 2. GOOD ANSWER. 3. Because these ladies are participating in a festival. (Full sentence: The ladies are wearing pretty dresses because they're participating in a festival.) 4. GOOD ANSWER. 5. GOOD ANSWER. (Full sentence: They're sitting together because they both love playing the guitar. OR They're sitting there because they love playing music together.)
Hi Jennifer, I have some questions hanging over me. Not wanting to waste your time, I'm going to ask you just one question today hopping to help me get over it The question is: I know that there are three types of verbs in English language transitive, intransitive, and both transitive and intransitive vrebs, there is no problem with transitive verbs and intransitive verbs, but the problem is with the verbs that sometimes take an object and sometimes don't. to make my question clear enough I'm going to lay out some examples : The colonists preserved despite......etc We can say: for example something preserved the colonists can't we? so, the colonists were preserved by something. what is the difference ? Another example she suffers a disease or she suffers from a disease. also the verb force for example Sailors forced to change their plan. we were forced to go. There are tons of verbs like these. I know you might find my question easy or let's say silly, but as a non-native English speaker it's definitely not.
Use a learner's dictionary to confirm possible usage. Examples: www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/persevere www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/preserve Read the examples. Note the contexts. For example: www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/suffer You suffer FROM a disease, an illness, etc. People in general can suffer. (no object) A group can suffer defeat . (suffer defeat = common collocation) I'll consider making a video on this topic. I know it's a challenging one. :)
Dear teacher, thank you very much, this lesson was also very enjoyable. But here there is also a question that you used (do) for the example of umbrellas. But in the example you used the microphone (does). Why? Please explain.😊
We need the helping verb DO to form a question. She does... >> Why does she have a microphone? They do... >> Why do they have umbrellas? Remember: I do, you do, she does, he does, it does, we do, they do
BE = a helping verb in progressive forms >> I am writing. DO = a helping verb in questions and negatives when the verb is not TO BE >> Why do you wake up at 5:00?
@@Englishwithjennifer i know the different between them but i still have one question, the first question ,,,can i use this structure "why does she wear a hat ?"instead of "why is she wearing a hat ? can i ignore the difference ,and use both of them to ask?
Because she want to have memory in any place she visited it 2. Because he is doing exercise 3. Because they are doing the dancing show 4. Because he going to speak on live 5.because they are having a funny time and they love together
Good effort! 1. Because she WANTS to have A memory OF THE place she visited. 2. Because he is EXERCISING. 3-4. Because they are doing A SHOW. Because he is going to speak LIVE. (Or: speak to a live audience) 5. Because they are having FUN (or: a fun time) and they love BEING together
My pleasure! (Thank you for + what/ for DOING something. Thank you for the corrections. Thank you for correcting me.) Thank you for studying with me. :)
The present progressive helps us talk about actions happening right now. Do you see the man? Yes, he is throwing a snowball. Why is he throwing a snowball? Because he's playing in the snow. Because he wants to have fun. (THROW is an action. WANT is not an action.)
I want to learn english throught youtube but i do nót know where to start because i do not know a bit about it yet,but i find there are many programs you do above i do not know what programs to learn accordingly with beginners you can just help me ,i would like to thanks -i had to translate google and send it to you.
You can, but it's only for a temporary situation: I'm having some problems with this math assignment. They're having a baby! Are you having a good time? Thanks for coming to my party. In general: I have three brothers. She has a cat. He has an umbrella. (These are long states. This is about possession and belonging.)
Is my sentence correct in this context:- I know how to handle these issues because i have been a government servant.(he was a government servant in past but now he is not but he has experience of being a government servant. He is not government servant anymore) Please reply Please
Ma'am please answer my question (I have posted the same question in your previous video) "He has been a wrestler." What does this statement mean- if he was a wrestler in past but now he is not Or He is a wrestler now. please clear my doubt Pleaseeeeeee
You can add a time period: He has been a wrestler for more than five years. (This is more natural. Otherwise, I'd use the simple present to identify his profession: He's a wrestler.) True in the past, but not now: He used to be a wrestler.
Ma'am could you please tell me ,,,what is the difference between start and begin and,,,,,, difference between home and house!!!!!! waiting for ur valuable response,,,,
1 why is he taking a picture?_ Answer:- Because he wants to send his a wife 2. Why is he on the floor? Because he wants to make an exercise 3. Why are the ladies in pretty gresses? Because she is celebrating her wedding 4.Why does he have a microphone? Because he's singing a song 5.why are they sitting together Because they are sitting to celebrate their relationship Thank you
Thanks for sharing your answers. My suggestions: 1. Because he wants to send it to his a wife. 2. Because he wants to exercise. 3. Because they are celebrating a wedding. 4. Because he's singing a song. 5. Because they are enjoy each other's company./They are having fun together.

My comments:
1. GOOD ANSWER.
2. GOOD ANSWER.
3. Because these ladies are participating in a festival. (Full sentence: The ladies are wearing pretty dresses because they're participating in a festival.)
4. GOOD ANSWER.
5. GOOD ANSWER. (Full sentence: They're sitting together because they both love playing the guitar. OR They're sitting there because they love playing music together.)
@@Englishwithjennifer Thank you very much, Jennifer!
Ms. Jennifer is it correct that state verbs don't have present participle/ing-forms?
There are always exceptions. Example: I've been having a difficult time lately.
because maybe he's singing a song .. because he's RJ on FM.
Yes, I think he's singing a song. Or maybe because they're recording a song together.
thanks
Hi Jennifer, I have some questions hanging over me.
Not wanting to waste your time, I'm going to ask you just one question today hopping to help me get over it
The question is:
I know that there are three types of verbs in English language transitive, intransitive, and both transitive and intransitive vrebs, there is no problem with transitive verbs and intransitive verbs, but the problem is with the verbs that sometimes take an object and sometimes don't.
to make my question clear enough I'm going to lay out some examples :
The colonists preserved despite......etc
We can say: for example something preserved the colonists can't we?
so, the colonists were preserved by something.
what is the difference ?
Another example
she suffers a disease or
she suffers from a disease.
also the verb force for example
Sailors forced to change their plan.
we were forced to go.
There are tons of verbs like these.
I know you might find my question easy or let's say silly, but as a non-native English speaker it's definitely not.
Use a learner's dictionary to confirm possible usage. Examples:
www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/persevere
www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/preserve
Read the examples. Note the contexts. For example: www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/suffer
You suffer FROM a disease, an illness, etc.
People in general can suffer. (no object)
A group can suffer defeat . (suffer defeat = common collocation)
I'll consider making a video on this topic.
Remember:
I do, you do, she does, he does, it does, we do, they do
@@Englishwithjennifer Yes, that's right, unfortunately, I forgot😊
Wild accents i'm doing exercise in de gym & what about you??
Replying to comments. :)
what is the different between why is......and why does.....,i dont understand ,thanks teacher J,what situation should i use Be verb or auxiliary verb
BE = a helping verb in progressive forms >> I am writing.
DO = a helping verb in questions and negatives when the verb is not TO BE >> Why do you wake up at 5:00?
@@Englishwithjennifer thx a million
@@Englishwithjennifer i know the different between them but i still have one question, the first question ,,,can i use this structure "why does she wear a hat ?"instead of "why is she wearing a hat ? can i ignore the difference ,and use both of them to ask?
Grammatically, both questions are correct. You need to choose the right question for the right situation. ;)
im watching all the videos. I can do learn english with my selfie?
You can learn with Flavia and Andreia. You can find other sites too.
Here's one: www.learningchocolate.com/
Because she want to have memory in any place she visited it
2. Because he is doing exercise
3.
Because they are doing the dancing show
4. Because he going to speak on live
5.because they are having a funny time and they love together
Good effort!
1. Because she WANTS to have A memory OF THE place she visited.
2. Because he is EXERCISING.
3-4. Because they are doing A SHOW. Because he is going to speak LIVE. (Or: speak to a live audience)
5. Because they are having FUN (or: a fun time) and they love BEING together
@@Englishwithjennifer oh my god i have many mistakes but i am learning with you
Thank you very much to correct me 🌹🙏🌹♥️
My pleasure!
(Thank you for + what/ for DOING something. Thank you for the corrections. Thank you for correcting me.)
Thank you for studying with me. :)
why we use ing in throwing?
The present progressive helps us talk about actions happening right now.
Do you see the man? Yes, he is throwing a snowball. Why is he throwing a snowball? Because he's playing in the snow. Because he wants to have fun. (THROW is an action. WANT is not an action.)
I want to learn english throught youtube but i do nót know where to start because i do not know a bit about it yet,but i find there are many programs you do above i do not know what programs to learn accordingly with beginners you can just help me ,i would like to thanks -i had to translate google and send it to you.

Hi there , I have a question ?
why don't we put ing in the verb have ?
You can, but it's only for a temporary situation:
I'm having some problems with this math assignment.
They're having a baby!
Are you having a good time? Thanks for coming to my party.
In general: I have three brothers. She has a cat. He has an umbrella. (These are long states. This is about possession and belonging.)
I want Friday because I go to most
Do you like Fridays? Why?
It's because I go to most
It's because I go to the exercise
Is my sentence correct in this context:-
I know how to handle these issues because i have been a government servant.(he was a government servant in past but now he is not but he has experience of being a government servant. He is not government servant anymore)
Please reply
Please
You can say: I was a government employee. / I used to be a government employee. / I worked for the government.
Ma'am please answer my question
(I have posted the same question in your previous video)
"He has been a wrestler." What does this statement mean- if he was a wrestler in past but now he is not
Or
He is a wrestler now.
please clear my doubt
Pleaseeeeeee
You can add a time period: He has been a wrestler for more than five years. (This is more natural. Otherwise, I'd use the simple present to identify his profession: He's a wrestler.)
True in the past, but not now: He used to be a wrestler.
Wry naice
I'm happy you think this is a very nice lesson.
@@Englishwithjennifer i always lastan your laesan, I learn English from your yotob frogram
