Nothing feels quite like a quality pair of leather football boots. We all know about the legendary Copa Mundial, but more recently Adidas has impressed with the extremely unique concept of the laceless Copa 19 & 20+. For 2021, we now have the evolution of this concept, and while they look incredible, the feel leaves me a little bit confused.
In today's video we take a closer look at the new Adidas Copa Sense+, a boot that sees the evolution of Primeknit and kangaroo leather combining as Fusionskin, while also introducing a number of new "technologies", some most definitely being better than others! Throw in some controversial decision making and a few gimmicky bits, and you're left with a football boot with some major talking points, both good and bad. I cover everything that you need to know. I think adidas are coming up with more ideas than nike for the past 5 years
It's not that they're coming up with more ideas. They're just releasing more models. And each model is 70% similar to year before.

Maybe in the last 2-3 years. If you’re saying 5 years I say the first half of it bar the Ace16+ Purecontrol,the other lines just didn’t caught on. In my opinion,Took the X line a good 3 years to finally get a really model which I say from the X18 to the current XGhosted are all solid boots.
Ive just tried these on for the first time. Thankfully the sense pods don’t cause me any issues and feel very normal for my feet. I am a big fan of them atm

@@ezekielgberie2796 they’re still pretty good, the fit isn’t 100% but it’s comfortable enough. I’ve got both the 20+ as well as these ones and I prefer the 20+ as it’s more plush, the sense + aren’t really leather boots so take that into account. They’re an alright boot but you can still find the 20+ around a lot of places so try to get those if you can.

I have never had blisters on my heels prior to wearing these boots. Those sense pads are killing my game!

With thick socks like grip socks it feels fine, can’t wear thin regular socks cuz youll feel the Pads and the Pressure. I think Half size up is better than true to size

Can you do a copa sense vs predator freak video. So undecisive on which one to choose for next boot
I just picked the last pair in my size from the outlet here with 50% off. I bought 20.1 three years ago with my normal shoe size but they fit too small since the leather wouldn’t stretch at all. On the other hand, I went up half size and they fit perfectly with the Pure Grip socks. Btw, I tried the Predator Edge today as well but they don’t feel nice so I am pretty happy about my choice.

The sense pods look like the same thing adidas use in the harden vol 5.
I always thought heel pods made sense. I had some Nike Mercurial Talarias when I was a kid and those heel pods gave me blisters, but I think if they made them with a cats tongue (like Predator Instinct) material, then it could work out.

The inner part of the boot, where the memory foam pod is, is an area where I tend to break my boots. Many Futsal models have reinforcement elements like that. Maybe the pod is there for durability.
I think it's there also for when you control the ball when receiving a pass, it takes the weight off the ball so you can have a better control

@@irv7922 they were incredibly uncomfortable, must be the whole part of wearing laceless cleats. the back of the heel hurt my feet and when I would run up to kick there would be extra little space. Overall you either like them or hate them and I hated them and returned the next day
@@darren_fx where did you get them from and it was fine for me i had some good touches passes and tackles but the only part that hurt was the heel part because of the sensepad
I liked the Copa because it was a traditional boot. Will go Mizuno next I think.

Yeah for that both sell Copa Munidal and Nike Premier. Tiempo and copa sense are the high tech leather boots not for the purists but for the mercurialists..

Not sure about these. Think I may go for Tiempo SG when my 20.1 SG gets wrecked, unless I can get another pair of 20.1's.
I think the sense.1 will be a better boot than the 20.1 at least in terms of fit and touch throughout the boot

I think the sense. 1 is a better boot than the 20.1 because it doesn't have the burrito like wrap internally... And has a better fit in general with this new collar
I have a question that was bothering me for a while. Can midcut boots protect ankle (not talking about ankle support) because of the extra material and thickness around your ankle
I suppose the extra material, depending on the specific boots, could help in preventing a cut or something like that. I wouldn't say that there's much in the way of significant protection provided by mid-cut boots.

The new low top predators feel like work boots. I tried playing with them this past Saturday.... and they honestly felt like I was wearing steal toes work construction boots.

I had a pair of Copa 20+ and they ripped after 2 wears and I had to return them. These copas catch my eye ahead of every boot (apart from the mizuno morelia neo 3 Japan I own) and I want to own a pair - would it be worth getting them even though my others were poor quality?
I had a pair of 20+ and I wore them to every pick up game practice game and official and game and the color faded a bit but no tearing for 2 years

Honestly I had these cleats for quite some time. I came to realize that my right foot always got blisters. I figured that it might the cleats. Honestly the only reason why I bought them was because they looked good. They are good boots but for me, the cleats weren’t for my feet.
