ProSonix OptiShear Starch Jet Cooker

ProSonix starch jet cooker is designed for starch cooking in sugar production in corn wet milling, fuel ethanol production or ethyl alcohol from starch or sugar-based feedstocks in dry milling, corn syrup production, and fructose production. Starch liquefaction is a critical step in converting starch grains to sugar and alcohol. The OptiShear jet cooker uses steam injection heating to completely hydrolyze the starch molecules.
