Concrete can be made to float if it is shaped like a boat. A boat-shaped or hollow object will displace a volume of water greater than the actual volume of solid material in the object. The object is said to be "buoyant" when it floats due to low density.
Been there many times in the 1980’s. Before it became Miami Beach. Queens highway was sand, Chauks airboats landed, Hemingway’s hotel and bar had dancing until 2 am.
Hey mi amigo. I'm new to your channel and really get encouraged by your posts. I'm in Virginia and searching for my first boat. Hopefully to be completed this Spring. Summer/Fall '24 I hope to make the crossing Bimini. Hope to see you there sometime.
Awesome views and beautiful color water. As far as the concrete floater if I recollect my physics is a matter of density. If you spread the concrete enough to balance the density it can float...something like that, it's been over 40 years since high school. Love your videos
It was a luxury gambling boat for the rich before WW2. After WW2 started it became a floating target for US Air Corps out of Miami. I dived.. that boat in 1986.Sailboat dive cruise 7 days in Bimini. Bimini isn't the same. Sad😢
Does the cobia rise as dry as the sea hunt?? Looking at a cobia and sea hunt right now. Cobia doesn’t seem to have as wide of a flare in the front…I’m looking at the 27 ans 30s….not quite a 35 but curious.
Yes the 35 rides as dry as the sea hunt but if you would compare my 30 gamefish vs a 301 cobia I think the sea hunt would be more of a dry ride because of the dead rise flare
@@josedomin1 no the 30ft sea hunt beats the 301 cobia in almost all categories. I only went with a cobia 350 because sea hunt does not make a 35ft boat themselves
Reason it's floating is S.S. SAPONA SHIPWRECK sits atop of a coral reef bed 15 ft of water it's not that deep there my brother had dived there holding it up above sea levels otherwise it would be not visible an sunk
@@MiamiLiving305 ok was asking because if you leave from New York by boat and returning to New York they don't require a passport because your entry point is the same
Great video man! The Florida boating lifestyle looks so relaxing. Looking forward to part 2! New boat is awesome!
Yes their is nothing like it the places to go are endless. Stay tuned for part 2 crossing back to Miami
Looks amazing! I can't wait until we go visit next year on our jet skis!
That’s on my bucket list! Going to Bimini via JetSki

Next time you go to Bimini, take a run over to the back side of the North East side during low tide. It is amazing.
I have only gone once to see the plane but since I do not know the area well I have not explored more
Can't wait to see part II. How much was that lobster fiesta?

A concrete boat floats when the amount of water displaced is less than the weight of the vessel.
Crazy how that works
@@MiamiLiving305 Same thing happens to you when you jump in the water.
@@allenmyers8568 well when I jump I go straight to the bottom,
good job as usual bro
Thanks Haywood
How much does it cost you to clear customs and check in?
$150
Fried lobsters looked 🔥
Never had them like that but def the best tasting lobster I have ever eaten
Concrete floats the same way swimming pools hold water… take the water out the pool, it will float too… septic tanks will float with no water in it.
but if you throw a concrete slab on the water it sinks to the bottom?
Reason it's floating is S.S. SAPONA SHIPWRECK sits atop of a coral reef bed 15 ft of water it's not that deep there my brother had dived there holding it up above sea levels otherwise it would be not visible an sunk
why does nobody go there in December?
I guess the water is not as warm and people choose to travel to the cold parts for christmas vacations
what's your top speed on those please
59 for the sea hunt 61 for the cobia
I've got to know how much the lobsters cost.
I think a dozen for 120! They charges us 20 bucks to cook it for us
