I was debating between words like intentional, deliberate, mindful, and discernment as my word of the year until I realized that every single one of my goals could be summarized with three words: cultivate what matters. (My WOTY bracelet I'm making will just have "Cultivate" for the sake of simplicity, but I'm going with "Cultivate what Matters" as my phrase of the year.)
Replacing social media time with other leisure activities like reading and crafting, taking actionable steps towards career clarity, focusing on quality over quantity in socializing, focused time with God and tithing, defining my health/wellness journey, taking care of my belongings, curbing impulse spending, and continuing the journey of embracing who I am and learning to live in the full spectrum of color. 2024 is going to be a year of prioritizing where I spend my time, money, energy, and focus- cultivating what matters and letting go of what doesn't.

Happy new year Brianna!!! I missed you, friend! Good luck with all your goals. I can’t wait to follow along! I also hope to ✨glow up✨ this year. I quit my full time job to devote my time fully to my small business so now I’ll have time to wake up and work out, meal plan, eat healthy, go for walks mid-day, all that fun mental and physical health!

Inspiring video. My word for the year is "transition." Mainly transitioning from being in mourning to remembrance and love, for what was and what will be. I am still working on my goals. Some of the ones I have written down are health, self-care, and task oriented. Thank you for sharing yours.
