Yes but in many the wire is quite thin. You may need to make the element quite short. The diameter is about the same as the tips I got for my Peter Child burner.
Hey Lloyd the paperclip was for an emergency not sure it is good for a burner but I do have one of the heavier duty ones so I had no issue. I use 20 ga and 18 ga Nichrome@@lloydbannister8062
Its a pen from my Masterburner. I have the dual pen model and love it cause the pens do get a little hot if turned up and it's good to be able to switch then out.

Have you ever made a bigger tip for burning? Something that can do large pieces?
The Masterburner I use can not really heat much larger wire but the the wire I use can of course be used on any size art.
