I would prefer to have the KINGDOM Optimus Primal, because his colors are accurate to that show! These figures are meant to represent the BEAST WARS cartoon!

Love the reviews man! Keep it up! I just got my Pit of Judgement set, Kingdom Rhinox, Galvatron and Scorponok(BW)! And even found a spoiler pack Nemesis Prime for a decent price since I missed out on that guy. Been an exciting week! As for this Walmart exclusive? I might skip it.
Nice finds! I'm still left in the weeds on Galvatron. They keep getting snatched up before I can grab one.
@@TFCollector Hopefully you get an issue of Galvy without the shoulder mistake. Unfortunately mine has the shoulders pinned the wrong way like so many others where it’s super low.
I just picked this guy up at Ross for 17 bucks ( a score I know) first transformer not the first figure. But I do love him so far.

@@TFCollector 9h I'd have paid 20. Idk I've got beef with Hasbro, being both a transformers and power rangers fan, ya see. I don't complain as much about them as most do, but I'll always be salty the transformers guys make plastic bricks and call them megazords lmao.

True. I don't really dig Rattrap's brain. It's too dark. Primal having gray feet is nice, but it's not enough to tempt me to get this. The main line ones work for me.

It could be because he's a refreshing change from getting Optimus Prime after Optimus Prime for like 20 straight years.
I do quite like the Primal, but I don’t really like the colors on Rattrap, so I probably will pass on this. That feet thing bugged me a little bit, so I’m really glad they came out with this for people who really want it. I think the thing that bugs me the most about Rattrap is the super dark silver, if it was lighter I would probably pick this up.

I would get this one. It's a much better screen representation of the characters.

They're starting to pop up in stores. Hopefully, they'll make their way to your area soon.
While I'll still happily pick up any merch, fiction wise, I think
Beast Wars needs to resume dormancy. For two big reasons.
A: no Bob Forward involvement, to any capacity, not even as a consultant.
B: no OceanGroup voice actors. Garry Chalk IS Optimus Primal. Period.
Honestly, the Netflix show didn't even feel like a proper TV series.
It felt more like an extended commercial for this latest CHUG iteration.
This is why you never allow Hasbro to be directly involved.
Corporations don't know dick about creativity or originality.
As is the show has no identity of it's own.
It's just a patchwork of references & elements
from earlier, better handled versions of Transformers.
Why should I care the BW cast are here?
I know this isn't really them. Just a shittier version of them.
I hate to say it, but I mostly agree. I love Beast Wars and was looking forward to its return. But, the terrible way they've handled it so far makes me kind of wish it just stayed dormant. This generation of kids, when they think of Beast Wars, they'll think of that cobbled together mess they call a Netflix show. Here's to hoping Rise of the Beasts does our bots justice. 🤞

Like, am I expected to care that Rattrap said "Chopperface"
& Dinobot said "Vermin?" This version of them lack the
argumentative, standoffish, begrudging friendship we
saw develop in the 90s cartoon.
Oh, it was all totally half-baked fan service. They really thought tossing in a familiar line here and there was really gonna make people love the show. I personally found the whole thing insulting.
